my buddy just passed away, he was having severe sezuires. We kept him going for two years on insulin about 6 or 8 months ago we started to notice him going blind. When he died he seemed to be about 90% blind. I dont think a blind dog is any less loving. I miss my buddy even in his poor state, i had him 14 years of my 15 year life. I dont know if i will ever break my daily routine. sorry if this is too depressing.

My schnauzer went blind after a few months on insulin - we had cataract surgery - but he was only 8 at the time.
