  • I purchased my Meta 2 from HumbleOutdoors for about $245, it came with a free footprint.

Nice tent, Nemo has done a wonderful job with this concept.

  • A vestibule is an area not in the tent, but still protected from rain

    Thanks for watching

  • whats a vestibule majig?

  • Explain the surviving of lightning that you mentioned towards the end of the video

  • Nemo should get you on board to demo their gear- you have a clear & interesting presentation style. Keep the reviews coming!

  • @vmoko

thank you, and thanks for watching !!

hope to post much more later ... been very busy with work.

  • Great Video! I ordered my Meta 2P last month from HumbleOutdoors ($283 w/free footprint). . Thanks again for all your efforts!

  • i haven't heard of the OBI yet !~

obviously it wasn't out when i got this tent.

good luck in your purchase, it's a great company to support

  • To get this or wait for the 2011 NEMO OBI series??? Can't decide.

  • Again, thanks for putting this video together.

  • i just spent 2 days in rain in ca. san gabriel canyon, north fork. it was awesome! stayed bone dry, next to a river, light to heavy rain, some wind and second day we were in a thick cloud bank with heavy dew. but inside, dry as can be and i cooked in the vestibule, loads of room. packed, it fits perfect in the lower compartment on my gregory baltoro 70 with stakes lines ground clothe and room for a poncho or wind breaker left over. brilliant tent! worth every penny

  • Can you show how it looks packed up in it's bag? I need a tent for motorcycle traveling. Showing the tent backed would be nice. Thanks

  • I wonder when the follow-up review will be posted??? I'm really looking forward to your actual real world findings.

  • @Lime950

i took on a new role at Work, so it'll be mid october before i can get enough time off to spend a week in the woods with it : /

  • seems like a decent enough shelter, and a good enough weight. I don't mind sleeping diagonal due to my height I guess. Can't say I like the loud color, but the vest is generous, and the design seems old school pop tent, which I like. Probably one of the better single walls I've seen. very nice review, thanks

  • Hi. Are the head and foot vents on your Meta 2p sewn shut every 3 inches or so on the inside? I was looking at one of these today and because there were essentially sewn shut on the inside, it made them all but useless. Was wondering if I was looking at a flawed tent or not. Thanks!

  • Excellent reviews! Thanks a bunch your very helpful.

  • Thanx for the sizing specific demo!

  • Excellent! I ordered my meta 2p on Monday (at well under $300 also). Really looking forward to getting out. Thanks for all your videos!!

  • Awesome! Thanks a ton for the two videos on the meta 2p. Mine should be arriving tomorrow, and I'm pretty pumped. From what I understand, setup is pretty easy?

Look forward to part 3 of 3!
