Sister Dottie Rambo was going to re-record this song on her new album before she was killed. I was a personal friend of hers and she told me that God was taking her back to the old songs: the people wanted them and the anointing was on them. Such as shame that we had to lose Sister Dottie from the UPC. She still loved us though and she personally told me and I have it on video that she never denied her water baptism in the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ and the Mighty God in Christ.
I remember the first time i heard this song. I have since realized that the idea of being a prisoner to Jesus was what I knew was important in the lyric; the songs melody is quite nice as well.
