Whats the point of posting this shit on here for its crap! its just a game and next time aim for the tank because you missed it sorry but this was wasting my time. You want to properly fly an a-10 play flight sim or lock on.
I don't care for flight sims. It is just part of ArmA and I edited most sounds to be better than the vanilla sfx. I am no pro at that, but those are 10x better. Since the game is pretty much a bug-hunt I quit playing. ArmA II was a PITA, too.
In the end, I quit messing around with crappy games. No need to waste time.
I still have those vids up and deleted those with less than 1k views, even if there is no more ModWar. But people seem to watch them, so here you go.
this game was a huge dissapointment.. it is OFP with slightly better graphics. Still cant walk in buildings, still cant tell poeple to give you cover, still cant tell units to clear out buildings or shoot from them without serious scripting. they still wonder around a battlefiled getting shot at like idiots. Not to mention they dont use cover at all. the game is so easy to outsmart its a waste of time..
you CAN walk in buildings, up and down the floors, open/close doors, go up on the roof, climb ladders. Test the program before puking shit. With some mods for realism and the update patches it rocks hard.
Should a combot simulator already be realisitc? in fact the A.I doesnt even respond to buildings even existing other then a collision response. and A.i path finding abilities is like drivers ed all over again. not to mention those awful sound effects. im sorry but i did not pay 50 bucks to update an already flawed game design.
Shows again you havent tried it latest patched up and with the appropriate mods. FDF sound mod gives AWESOME sounds and NWD_Ballistics erase the difference between VBS2 and ArmA when it comes to... ballistics.
Sure the AI drive into a wall sometimes whrn agitated - so do the players. The AI do interact with buildings!!! They come in and search for you when you shoot from a building. Our team uses about 8 mods that just lifts ArmA to pure enjoyment. And slightly better graphics than OFP? allow me to laugh. Shows you havent seen it on a system that can handle it.
I dont really care enough to debate you honestly . Bottom line, i am constantly frustrated that I feel like im constantly being limited in what only the mod community can cough up to fix in an otherwise horribly predictable game.

it is. it is an open sim.... why not open a program so talented people can make it better and enhance it? That way the program dont die instantlly and you can get whatever YOU want in it. Me and friends work on a huge mod atm with new soldiers, vehicles etc. thats a bad thing? to get more for free? hm...
sweet vid but ive got one question for anybody why do the vehicles and planes have the cheap half as sound to the engines. Like at the beginning when it starts up it shouldnt sound like a sound from an original Nintendo game.

And yeah, you are the man for figuring out I give a hairy monkey arse for flying (tell the AI to aim properly, I just made the sounds for this mod).
