I actually discovered this by accident. I had a drink in the freezer for a little while, and when i went to take it out it was fully liquid, n i was like wth no ice after so long? So i took it out and proceeded to walk to the computer with it, the bottle hit against something, next thing thing i know when im almost at the pc, and ready to drink, its all fully frozen.... i was like wth! LOL... went n ran it under some water and it came back to liquid pretty fast

I did watch 2 attempts with coke, which failed and figured the gas may work against it. But mainly, it told me it's not the alcohol that enables it. I was wondering since I wouldn't have guessed that sub-zero particles needed a disturbance to crystallize - I reckon it's because the beer is air tight and nothing more.

However, it will still freeze in time. I dunno. I tried it twice and both my beers froze in the freezer. Though they WERE smaller and had easier-to-open caps.

... its called supercooling.. and yes this does work.. it goes just below freezing point, works especially well with carbonated drinks. Works also with water but it needs to be pretty damn pure for it to go below freezing point and even then its just going to form slush..

Theres no trickery or added crap on this.. its just cooling it off untill right temp, and if you overdo it then its most probably gonna explode in your freezer or just be too warm for this to work..

this is featured on mythbusters and confirmed... the beer has to be pretty much right at 32 degrees for it to work, though. In addition, there is very little alcohol in beer, so freezing a beer is much easier than freezing, say, a bottle of vodka.

Alcohol does freeze. It freezes at -173f. Everything will freeze at some point but getting materials there are much more extreme than others. Like freon. It boils at -200f. You'll be surprised what you can learn in college.
