Now that I've watched the video again I thought . . . ehh . . . GirlTalk's music is not creative. They're just putting a beat under the music performed by The Verve.
I think there's a difference between what led zepplin has done with a whole lotta love than sampling because they recorded all the music themselves as opposed to sampling which takes sound recordings off the original record instead of re-recording them
@burgers2296 Now I see what you meant. It's creative to cover the song with your own style. What a DJ does is not play other's material. They actually play their voice and instruments. Which would add them as partial performers of the music as well as being writers.
