Harry Nilsson left behind EXCELLENT work! Indeed, both his songs and his arrangements for them are a part of his legacy. Nilsson is GREAT! Although underrated, he did put out some great tunes.

This is just what I need for my Harry Nilsson nostalgia (triggered by the Coconut Song). I love the pics you put with the song - especially the sleepy-head in the blue jammies.

I had Nilsson Schmilsson on LP at age 16 (yes, I'm old) and I remember playing this song for my parents. I was going "Isn't this guy brilliant??!!" and they were just listening with glazed eyes. (They grew up with Lawrence Welk. . . .)

My mom played this album all the time when we were kids (I was born in '69) and we loved to dance to the increasing craziness in "Coconut"... this one just cracked us up :)

The album was a really weird floppy/flexible 33 and 1/3 made of "dynaflex"....never seen one like that before or since.
