hey... im about to buy a ice cream maker as well!! i want to make healthy ice cream - just milk, fruits, and nuts, no sugar, no cream.... but as far as i can see this icecream maker is working properly only if u use a lot of fat that will make the ice cream soft and with a good consistency. is there any other way to make good ice cream?
do you have problems with most of your ingredients freezing to the bottom? I lose so much of my yogurt becuase it freezes solid onto the bottom and sides of the bowl.
@broadwaybaby1413 sincerely, I stopped using it... till next summer.... but the day I put a yogurt into it, it didnt work, it was yogurt with crystalization..

@nette626 ok, so Iv'e had this for almost a year... Is good if you will be using heavy cream (like in the vid) I bought this so I could make healthy iced cream, like protein iced cream, which turned out not so great... because I use water or milk, and it simply doesn't become iced cream, same thing with yogurt, milk etc... the only result is a frozen mess
the Cuisinart doesn't do what it promises to do....
I still have it by the way.....and the recipe in this video is the best for this machine
@macarari Thx ugh i bought it already before i read this :( darg! i wanted it to make healthy ice cream as well. Can u share your recipe for this? so i can buy the ingredients before it comes in the mail.. I am dissapointed i cant make healthy ice cream. And aww u say this is the best recipe :(
@sweetlikecandy21 its like stainless steal, kinda.... and you can feel in the inside like a gel, that when it freezes completely you can use it with no problems
