Windows XP compatablilty isssues is due to the Windows 98se is too old. to that design was blocked out. The 9X is blocked out of XP.

Windows Vista for me is a death to my three notebook computers that HP build for a living. dead motherboard designs what not. I wnated to get a crakded windows 7 and see if I can salvage one of the three computers. and one was sold to some one in California. and I did not get paid. HP got paid full price twice.

What I want to know is, does it transfer over your registry as well? Because I'm a massive tweaker...wait, that doesn't sound right.

If it would keep my customizations to the startup and logon screens, and my custom theme, I might upgrade, mostly for better power management on my laptop :/

that is a Dell I never order from Dell. I got a Segar 2 gigs of DDR3 memory and 1 gig DDR3 graphic memory. Dose work on Windows XP. however its got one dead pixel. Liquid Cooling system. all in a notebook 17" P9600 Intell Duo care 2.66.
