If you go & look at this VERY 1st episode & see ALL the parallels/foreshadows made for Damon & Elena, I think they were planned to happen from the beginning. Some people think Stefan & Elena are meant to be, but I disagree.
1. Bonnie tells Elena her future, she sees a crow (aka Damon) ;-)
2. If you look at the lyrics to the song when they indirectly meet in the cemetery, it talks about knowing where the heart is & where your fate is <3
3. There have been SO many parallels for them since then
ahahaha I love going back and remembering how cheesy the show was in the beginning. I remember seeing the promos and watching the first couple eps with my roomate last year and we made fun of it. So strange since it's now one of my favorite shows.
God, this shit was sooooooo bad. Stupid fog machines. Thank God this show improved. I bought the box set for a friend, and I had to beg him to keep watching past the first few episodes, because they are fucking AWFUL. But he didn't give up and I got him and a bunch of his friends hooked!
@SupernaturalLover67 Yes, i remember that. but if the crow was damon's pet, why did him kill it? i thought in that episode, it just simbolic damon kill zach? huhu i really don't get it. or damon can get inside the crow.. coz i have play a game that a dead person can do that.

i wish the producers not stole damon his powers . In the books he can be a crow and a black dog ( i think) i miss that.
