a two stroke fire once every revolution, giving it twice the power of a four stroke, which only fires once every other revolution. Thats why they race 125 2strokes with 250F's and 250's with 450F's. The four stroke power is alot more managable and has much more bottom end grunt than most two stroke motors. Two strokes require a oil-gas mixture fours dont.

you can feel the balance point better like that because you are standing, and you can compensate for sinking front wheel by gas, and rising front wheel by letting go of the gas...

it's a lot easier on a quad tho because you don't have to compensate for side to side balance
