Ok, first of all, I love the beast. They are the fathers of metal, period. That being said, I want to express my point of view regarding death/black metal. Once you cross the abyss of these genres there 's no turning back and even the Irons sometimes sound like Mickey Mouse tunes -- no pun intended -- however some of you dudes/duddettes have expressed this cover is shit-- not cool. This is what song like this one should really sound like.

like....headbangers going to their favourite band's live shows, collecting and buying vinyls, CDs, shirts, patches, and so on. Metalheads have a different mentality when it's about music, they're more devoted to their favourite music, plus that metal music is timeless lol, "mainstream music" gets old just after a couple days/weeks...it's awesome being a metalhead

This is exactly what any theme of heavy metal should sound like.

A contradiction? I don't think so. This is just an extreme from another. Without the fathers of metal we would not have great bands such as DT. With the extreme bands of death/black we could not truly understand the subte messages in those classic themes such as this.

I don't know what everyone's bitching about, this song is amazing! If you don't like the death growls, that's alright, but this happened to come through great, especially by comparison to The Trooper cover, by that band that sounds like CoB. Stanne's vocals DESTROY. He's the harsh equivalent to Dickinson. He's probably the best harsh vocalist, as Dickinson is the best clean!
