the best thing about zerg- especially for lower tier players- i that they're almost impossible to cheese. I play as protoss, and I get cannon rushed almost every other game now a days. It's frustrating as hell

Yeah, knowing a proxy is coming is not enough. Often times, I know, I see it coming at around 11 supply, but there is nothing I can do to stop it when playing protoss. In that situation, I normally try to make 2 gateways also and chrono boost out 2 zealots, but it's too late, I've already wasted money on assimilators and probes that he did not, so I lose.

Players like to say proxy cheese can be countered by "scouting". This video clearly shows there is more involved. Simply "scouting" the proxy doesn't stop it. To counter takes intense micro, a lean build order and snap decision making. I'd say 35% of basic players aren't going to have all those skills to counter. Its a cheap win and makes the game unappealing to basic players. Good vid!
