I do have one problem with this video sir, I'm no professional but that end note for the lead/tenor (The really long 'night') Sounded particularly electric. I love the work you do and that's the only thing I noticed, really.
@TheAlmostMadHatter When I sing high (I get up there... D6-G6) I don't sound like that. Granted, no two voices are going to sound perfectly alike. It's like he closed his throat off completely for it...
How the hell did you reach that note? That is just amazing... Top B is my limit. Bro, is there a particular way in practicing such a high note? cuz man that was quite incredable... or did you simply used auto tune?
I really enjoy your vids. Especially ones like this one where one can see the effortless effort you put into it ;)
(By which I mean the fact that it surely must be difficult singing like that, especially off that long note end, but you look like you're having so much fun with it.)
@FLSHBK1 don't be so dense...maybe the final recordings/finished product took 20 minutes that day...but many hours are put into arranging and practicing each individual part and attempting to multitrack in itself.
@LegendaryCloud89 You know this guy? You were there when he recorded it? My question was to him ~ I didn't intend to solicit any smartass troll for insults. If you weren't there to see first-hand how quickly this was made, you're unqualified to answer for him. Nobody asked you for your "opinion". Let him answer for himself.
@FLSHBK1 Lol I'm telling you it's NOT possible to have gotten all the work put into this done in 20 minutes...I'm telling you as a musician, you're obviously not one, where you would ask an insulting question. You're obviously ignorant to the musician's craft, time, and effort put into anything.
@FLSHBK1 and what I say is not opinion, it's fact, a lot of time and effort is put into this and it's insulting to ask if it can be done in 20 minutes. I know quite well the effort put into multitracking since I do it myself, so I'm well "qualified" to answer that. But I have to question if you're worth having a brain to ask such stupid questions. So shove off you ignorant jack-ass.
@LegendaryCloud89 Why don't you try shoving me off, little queerboy? Your homo 'musical' career has tricked your brain into delusions of grandeur. You don't tell people what to do on here, YouTube toughguy. Nobody's interested in your opinion, your self-importance, or your so-called 'expertise'. The question was directed to the ARTIST who actually did this work, not to any self-aggrandized wannabe who decides it's his place to answer for him. Keep your nose out of other peoples' business, jerk.
@FLSHBK1 dude, you're the jerk, starting this off with calling me a smartass troll (not that that statement matters, although you're a smartass douche bag for your first reply). What I said was not being a smartass but telling you to not be dense and use your brain, but apparently you don't have a good one. You're unable to understand concepts beyond what's in front of your eyes apparently.
@FLSHBK1 Also I'm no expert and never said that....Real musicians don't think they know everything or put themselves up on a pedastal because we know there's always more to learn and improve at. But your growth of knowledge ended a long time ago I'm sure.
@avenchulo Record in the quietest place possible, and then if it's too loud I have to automate the areas where there is nothing happening. Otherwise I don't hear the room sound when I'm singing in the mic.
Hey Danny! I want to play this on for trombones... but! I need to know what notes you are singing in this. If you're reading off a sheet of music let me know! I'd appreciate it if I could get it. Bass clef if you got it!
watch?v=FKbyL96p5XM - much more enunciate and hit all the right pitches
watch?v=3Xrr8sHj4vA - way more harmonically challenging. The arrangement is much more dense and does not have very nice voice leading. It may sound simple but there are a lot of weird intervals to sing that make it really hard to hear.
Barbershop is quite easy harmonically and rhythmically speaking. Not easy to pull off and present it well though.. that's a different story.
@daniscool99 are those arrangements yourse? And another thing... I love this song (Let´s get started) but i have no idea about who sang it first or who the composer is. Could you give me some information about it? Can i get the music sheet anywhere? Thanks
@kissa02 It's possible the videos are simply lip-sung. It's a simple and easy way to split the audio and video work, and it's barely visible on the end product.
Really great work....what I liked is the comic little part bow bow bow bow part, which separates your work in a comic way from the other guys who are doing this kind of thing.
Last note is awesome...if you get a chance, type in Piece of Sky by Barbra Streisand, and she holds her last note for 16 beats as well!!! Can we make requests...what's next!!!
Dude, props to you, I got linked through from ebay 'cos I wanted to check the mic quality which I most certainly did and I also get a lovely little audio / visual delight. Just shown a couple of others so it's a great feedback three-in-one style.
