  • Duuude....Dude that was awesome!!!! high 5!!!

  • Dude you AWESOME!!!!!

  • ...WOW

  • wow that high note you held O.O that was so cool and I love the muppets

  • for a couple of episodes of my internet show... may i please use this as audio for the intro is i credit you??

  • @MegaAntMan1 Sure. When you're crediting me, please list my name and YouTube account so people know where to look for it. Thanks.

  • Now that, sir, was some epic note-holding.

  • oh my freakin' god! :o

  • thats pretty badass dude

  • If you could give us the sheets, or the price for learning tracks, that would be fantastic :D

  • you have an awesome range! I've never met a barbershop/a capella singer with such a wide range!

  • Yeaaa

  • I can't help but sing!

  • I'm amazed at your ability to hold a note for 14 seconds. Bravo.

  • That guys gunna be on TV i know it

  • Bravoooooooooooooooooooooooooo !!!

  • I do have one problem with this video sir, I'm no professional but that end note for the lead/tenor (The really long 'night') Sounded particularly electric. I love the work you do and that's the only thing I noticed, really.

  • @Konnorshi That happens because of the high pitch, and his voice harmonizes with itself.

  • @TheAlmostMadHatter When I sing high (I get up there... D6-G6) I don't sound like that. Granted, no two voices are going to sound perfectly alike. It's like he closed his throat off completely for it...

  • @Konnorshi It's the type of Falsetto. I can do it like that too -.-

  • wow!

  • Great video, I keep coming back to this one and the one you did with your bro (Hit That Jive Jack, which, to me is your best by far).

  • this made me so happy hahah

  • this is really neat.

  • what kind of mic you're using?

  • I ... love you?

  • 1:00

    Holy shit

  • very good!

  • How the hell did you reach that note? That is just amazing... Top B is my limit. Bro, is there a particular way in practicing such a high note? cuz man that was quite incredable... or did you simply used auto tune?

  • Comment removed

  • hey make this is hallowenn from nightmare before crhistmas XD

  • do u record straight on your PC or on to your mixer?

  • You are now a God to me

  • you r too damn good! if i sent u a boom bap sounding hip hop beat. would u sing over it?

  • Wow, Wow, Wow.

    That's all i can say.

  • Nice! Add me to the list of guys who would appreciate a copy of the music. I'd love to open a show with this piece!

  • Do you have sheet music I can have for this. I have tried transcribing it but I'm not very good at that?

  • Bravo, and bravo. I might be a little late, but still, you did a very good job here:)

  • Awesome!!!!

  • Thank you for sharing your awesome talent. I wish you great success in life!

  • hold up are you from australia

  • that last long note...WOW!!!

  • I really enjoy your vids. Especially ones like this one where one can see the effortless effort you put into it ;)

(By which I mean the fact that it surely must be difficult singing like that, especially off that long note end, but you look like you're having so much fun with it.)

  • Judging by your wall clock, you accomplished this in only about 20 minutes. Any re-takes during that time?

  • @FLSHBK1 don't be so dense...maybe the final recordings/finished product took 20 minutes that day...but many hours are put into arranging and practicing each individual part and attempting to multitrack in itself.

  • @LegendaryCloud89 You know this guy? You were there when he recorded it? My question was to him ~ I didn't intend to solicit any smartass troll for insults. If you weren't there to see first-hand how quickly this was made, you're unqualified to answer for him. Nobody asked you for your "opinion". Let him answer for himself.

  • @FLSHBK1 Lol I'm telling you it's NOT possible to have gotten all the work put into this done in 20 minutes...I'm telling you as a musician, you're obviously not one, where you would ask an insulting question. You're obviously ignorant to the musician's craft, time, and effort put into anything.

  • @FLSHBK1 and what I say is not opinion, it's fact, a lot of time and effort is put into this and it's insulting to ask if it can be done in 20 minutes. I know quite well the effort put into multitracking since I do it myself, so I'm well "qualified" to answer that. But I have to question if you're worth having a brain to ask such stupid questions. So shove off you ignorant jack-ass.

  • @LegendaryCloud89 Why don't you try shoving me off, little queerboy? Your homo 'musical' career has tricked your brain into delusions of grandeur. You don't tell people what to do on here, YouTube toughguy. Nobody's interested in your opinion, your self-importance, or your so-called 'expertise'. The question was directed to the ARTIST who actually did this work, not to any self-aggrandized wannabe who decides it's his place to answer for him. Keep your nose out of other peoples' business, jerk.

  • @FLSHBK1 dude, you're the jerk, starting this off with calling me a smartass troll (not that that statement matters, although you're a smartass douche bag for your first reply). What I said was not being a smartass but telling you to not be dense and use your brain, but apparently you don't have a good one. You're unable to understand concepts beyond what's in front of your eyes apparently.

  • @FLSHBK1 Also I'm no expert and never said that....Real musicians don't think they know everything or put themselves up on a pedastal because we know there's always more to learn and improve at. But your growth of knowledge ended a long time ago I'm sure.

  • what amazes my about Danny is that he is able to hold notes for long periods of time how does he do it i don't know

  • I was expecting this to have like at least 1mil+ views.

  • you are the original definition of awesome :)

  • wait wait wait... was that post full voice?

  • Nice post of the tenor part. I always try to hold it out as long as Lester does on the record...but I fail because Lester is beyond freakin sweet.

  • You can't hate this. You just...CANT

  • why i dint hear the back noise off this Mic ?

i have the same but when i record something i hear the sssssssss noise of the Mic

    how u do it bro?

  • @avenchulo Record in the quietest place possible, and then if it's too loud I have to automate the areas where there is nothing happening. Otherwise I don't hear the room sound when I'm singing in the mic.

  • @daniscool99 thanks men for the replay!

  • @avenchulo You might have a cheap mic or cheap pre-amp. anything along the signal flow can create self noise thus ruining a recording.

  • @avenchulo This is because this is a good mic

  • 1:01 -1:16 ------ Holly Sh*t!!!

Look at the top left corner...lollll... XD

    sounds like İmam...

  • Great performance - love how each different voice you recorded resulted in different facial expressions. Keep it up!

  • Hey Danny! I want to play this on for trombones... but! I need to know what notes you are singing in this. If you're reading off a sheet of music let me know! I'd appreciate it if I could get it. Bass clef if you got it!

  • id love to be in the house when ur singing that rly long note at the end by yourself : D

  • Look at the clock on the wall...

He used 5 min per shot and were done with it 0.o

  • @kissa02 It's not a very difficult song :)

  • @daniscool99 and what do you call difficult??

  • @gerPzoidberg These two are way harder:

watch?v=FKbyL96p5XM - much more enunciate and hit all the right pitches

watch?v=3Xrr8sHj4vA - way more harmonically challenging. The arrangement is much more dense and does not have very nice voice leading. It may sound simple but there are a lot of weird intervals to sing that make it really hard to hear.

Barbershop is quite easy harmonically and rhythmically speaking. Not easy to pull off and present it well though.. that's a different story.

  • @daniscool99 are those arrangements yourse? And another thing... I love this song (Let´s get started) but i have no idea about who sang it first or who the composer is. Could you give me some information about it? Can i get the music sheet anywhere? Thanks

  • @gerPzoidberg Four Voices sang this arrangement, it was arranged by Kirk Young. No idea where to get the sheet music.. I transcribed it.

  • @kissa02 GREAT eye, sir/ma'am :-)

  • @kissa02 It's possible the videos are simply lip-sung. It's a simple and easy way to split the audio and video work, and it's barely visible on the end product.

  • what arrangement is this?

  • great performance! I really like it and it makes me smile... :-)

  • sweet

  • You cut out the word muppet. You muppet

I have it stuck in my head now and I'm picking out what part I would do. I can almost hit ALL the parts fine...except the bass xP There are like...2 or 3 notes my voice doesn't wanna hit, going down low xP
