  • But Frank always appreciated Thunes. Thunes treated rehearsal like Frank would.

  • I'm so happy to find this here. I have been looking for a descent quality version of this medley since 1988!! - I saw the show in New York and it was one of the best shows ever!!

  • @dreamwad1 - That show was at the Beacon, I was there too. They also did a killer version of "I Am the Walrus" that night. There are some bootlegs out there that have the medley on them- they are of varying quality.

  • @jackmioff100 - Yes!! That's awesome! He came back and played another show at Nassau Coliseum a few months later which was actually Franks final performance in the U.S. - I love the way the band played in 88. They were so tight and added in funny noises a lot... Damn.. .I miss Frank. I was just watching some of the interviews on here this afternoon and they are really cool. - Thanx for responding...

  • @dreamwad1- From what Frank has said, the band imploded because Scott Thunes was such a dick during rehearsals. They literally couldn't stomach him. Such a shame, you're right, that band was absoulutely amazing, Thunes included.

I miss Frank a lot too, he was my idol; I always wonder what he'd think and say about what's happening in the world. Cheers, friend.
