Most Somalis will not agree with you. They know it is Somalis killing Somalis. Sharif comes in the name of peace and is greeted with bullets. You once said you would not stop until Yusuf and Ethiopian troops were gone. They are gone. The AU did not come by force, the Ethiopians did. The Ethiopians were not "defeated" but left because Bush left and with it the hundreds of millions of dollars given to Ethiopia.

The attitude of "we rather not have a government" is at the center of what keeps the killings happening. There shall be a functioning government in Somalia. Ethiopia did not select the government and neither did the UN. Somalis selected it after pushing Yusuf out.

T.WEST..u need to stop trusting videos like this, the man was misqouted and al-shabab has spoken bout the accusations that they want to extend their rule outside somalia. aljazeera has misqouted him. abu mansur da shabab spokesperson said that they have no intention of extending or creating chaos outside somalia. we have border with kenya and ethiopia, and alshabab has not crossed into their borders yet although the time will come since kenya and ethiopia both control somali lands by force.

The freedom fighters are divided for the same reasons old men overthrew the Barre government. It is a quest for power and control. Aweys was not interested in dialogue and still isn't. Of course, he is not alone, there are others in the South of like mind.

The UN facilitated the creation of the TFG, Somalis determined whether it would be so or not. The same applies to Sheikh Sharif and he did consult with others, including Aweys who refused to be a part of it. The government of Yusuf is mostly gone. Before Ethiopian troops came, Somalis were killing Somalis. The AU troops are not the problem, certain wannabee Somali leaders are the problem. The AU are not killing the people, certain wannabee Arabs are.

Before there were foreign troops in Somalia, Somalis were butchering each other. The talk of resistance rings hollow. What good is it if I murder my own? The AU has used much restraint, however, the Ethiopian troops did apply too much blunt force.
If you have followed the videos I have done over the last 2 years, you will know that I have always been against Ethiopian troops being in Somalia. However, I am not against AU troops being there under the current situation.

Momuse, it is important to support a group or person when it is doing the right thing, not when it does the wrong things. Humanitarian aid is right and helpful but can also serve a dual purpose and the other is not so good. Al-Shabaab's leaders are the same way. They were right to oppose Ethiopian troops in Somalia but are wrong to attempt to remove Sheik Sharif by force. Mr. Aweys did not want to come to the table of dialogue in Djibouti but now enters Mogadishu causing trouble.
