denny's dead and there is no way the writers are going to let them get together cos izzie and dead guy - just not gonna work. its pretty formulaic at this point, injecting problems into the relationship so as to prolong the process to "settling down" which happens on series finales. and yea, am not a big fan of denny... alex is letting his vulnerable side show and if izzie screws this up, it's only going to destroy his trust in women, period.

Denny is/was a bad news even the first time he set his foot in SGH. He was the guy that make Dr. Izzie 'I don't care about my career as long as you get a new heart' cut LVAD wire & stole a heart fr another patient. Now he's here again to ruin her career yet again when everyone was excited about that solo surgery to prove themselves but not Izzie, like she don't care about her work , again because of him. Go away Denny, go far far away from Izzie Stevens!!

Also! Denny is NOT a ghost. Shonda has made this clear in interviews! He is obviously some sort of figment of Izzie's imagination. There are rumours that she has a brain tumour or she is insane - we don't know.. but it's definately something to do with Izzie's mind; he's not a ghost.

For people complaining about Denny: Yes, it is pretty far-fetched for Grey's. BUT no one really complained when Meredith "died" and saw her mom, the bomb guy and Denny. The audience LOVED Denny and Izzie, and since they can't bring him back from the dead, this is the only way to give Izzie and Denny another chance.
