the most accurate and best players are going to play on the fastest setting. that feature might need to be removed

It won't matter, fast-forwarding will just allow you to view events faster.

Hmm interesting concept...Funny thing is that there soon gonna be a free version of this.

There is an open source engine with free games working on it that is much more complex in terms of simulation and is currently in the process of implementing this same tive travel system.

It's called Spring RTS.

Its open source,free and has many free games to download.google spring RTS or youtube it to see.

@dzhibrish i searched for spring RTS videos and the spring RTS website and all i found were a couple threads talking about how implementing tihs would require rewriting half of their engine or even be impossible in spring.
