I don't believe the BoM to be what it claims, namely actual history. Even if it was I do not know how these people can speculate so much about a character about which so little is written. Like many figures in Mormonism I think the myth surpasses the info to support it.

The scripture you are referring to deals with after we all receive judgment and go to the place we will reside in for eternity.

I believe Pre-mortal spirits could take up a physical body when needed . reason - Adam the premortal body of Adam was different than His mortal body pre-mortal spirits could takeup the same kind of pre-mortal physical type if needed to . there are several mentionings in scriptures
of translated beings those who died but hold dispensational priesthood keys later confer those key's to prophets in latter times .

@rbvmtr But we are talking about the Angel Moroni here. Moroni died, so therefore must of been resurrected to get a body. I would not label a transfigured being as an angel - neither does the scriptures. Your are confusing things, I believe.

Enoch althou the whole city of Zion also was taken up . yes the resurrecting of the body must me first then judgement . but prophets , and Apostle's are given latter time missions . did not and apostle asked Christ to let him stay till he came again ? would he not be in a translated state till the end ( Translated and Immortal are two different beings )

@groovebassist Yes. I have always been under the assumption that Angels are those that have been judged (Alma 40) and resurrected (DC 129). Judged and Resurrection come hand in hand. This would mean that Moroni was resurrected, but not exalted.

you've quoted the wrong scriptures . just because one is called an angel doesn't mean one has been exalted before his or her time . Moroni the last keeper of the book of mormon and died after the ressurection of christ and round about the demis of the church of the new testiment therefor he must wait till his judgement day . which is the second comming . BuT he is the last prophet and commisioned to the gosple

If you read Alma 40 carefully, you will notice that Alma declares the doctrine you mention ("Moroni the last keeper of the book of mormon and died after the resurrection of christ and round about the demis of the church of the new testiment therefor he must wait till his judgment day . which is the second coming") as his opinion. It is very clear however that resurrection comes hand in hand with final judgment. You can't have a body without judgment.

he can assume a resurrected body at anytime for the principle sake of confering the gosple to others what ever that may be speaking of future time the is . what you quoted is those who were sent to the telesial glory who were not abiding by the law or the commandments and so on those angels must wait till AFTER the milinial reighn of christ or the very , very end to be resurrected and judged just in time for the final battle with the devil

@fudley2003 Alma 40: 11, 18-21 resurection D&C 129 decirning angles D&C 93 ;33 body and spirit look up translated beings . a premortal can take a physical body when needed - judgement of sodom angle taking lot and family away from city. angles apearing in old test. Enoch , ect. are translated but keep their bodies . moses was transfigured to recieve commandments . jesus was transfigured before moses ''translated being'' to recieve priesthood keys

And what's up with you people in thinking that we worship Joseph Smith? Do the Jews worship Moses? Do you worship Simon Peter? No. We respect him, but have never, do not, and shall never worship him, and he wouldn't want us to. Just as Moses would become angry if the Hebrews had started worshiping him. Joseph Smith was just the prophet who was commanded of the Lord to gather the righteous. The restoration of the gospel after the dark ages was his responsibility. That doesn't deify him.
