Oh, I didn't see it at first, but GA-MA69GM-S2H has the AMD 690G chipset, not the 780G. Anyway, something as simple as the Vista interface can't run that roughly on a 690G. You've got to have another problem there. Bye!

Erm... dont know whether you've just spelt it wrong but you say you have the GA-MA69GM-S2H which isnt 780G it's 690G which is the predecessor. The 780G Mobo is The GA-MA78GM-S2H which i have built a comp with and runs vista fine it gets a 5.3 on aero.

That's not true, it's got to do with your drivers, or your setup. It runs really fluidly games like FEAR, NFS Most Wanted, and many others in 1024x768. I've posted a video response of Flat Out 2 running on an X2 4800 and 2 gb 800 mhz with the 780G chipset.

i can say from personal expireance 780g can handle hl2 maxed out!
