I have heard many a version of it since I was a child. One of my earliest recollections was of Tex Ritter (The artist who did the original version of "High Noon"for the film. One of the most famouds versions is from the female artist Gogi Grant.

Great Robin, I love the old Weatern music too, especially the songs, they all tell a story and you can feel the atmosphere in the music.
