  • can some one do 5:33 i justy dont know how!!!! D:

  • what software program is this?

  • Thanks these notes work!

  • 2:01 wild pokémon appears

  • Anybody that can play this song with 2 hands on any instrument and make it sound good like this version, I salute you out there.

  • 1:13 does that hear a little like Orochimaru theme from Naruto?

    =/

  • @Painshakov the fugue at 2:33 is the orochimaru theme

  • @Painshakov finally someone noticed!!! =D

  • @Painshakov It sounds similar but Orochimaru's theme differs.

  • @kmncztms

only the 1:13 - 1:30 sounds like it,like i don't know that orochimaru theme is different.

  • 7:42

    facemelter

  • check out Eggs rendition of this

  • and also 0.34 you have six notes (in green) being played by the left hand....ok I am being very picky and I am gratful for this being posted up but Ive played organ on and off since I was 13 and well you cant have one hand playing six notes

  • @evilblondgoth Don't need 6 fingers, if you see the related video posted by cphayles, you'll see that besides the regular keys, there are pedals and switches surronding the player. That's why this is an organ piece, not a piano one.

  • @evilblondgoth

It's not 6 notes on the right hand. I don't play it that way.

Play the lowest D (5th finger) LEFT HAND, the C# (1st finger) LEFT HAND (thumb).

Then you use the right hand to finish the notes. E (thumb) G (2nd finger) A# (3rd finger) C# (4th finger) and E (5th finger).

    It's a stretch, but it's doable.

  • also what about the base peddles?

  • I am finding a little confusing only because my Organ has the two seperat keybords and this tutorial seems to have it on one key board so it looks like more of a piano turorial rather than one for an Organ.

  • 1:15 left hand - staccato!! ;)

  • Doesn't 1:13 remind anyone of Through the Fire and flames on guitar hero? 0_O

  • @PauledInc More like 2:33. I learned that bit on piano thanks to this vid. :)

  • my pc would crash and say there is million trojans in my pc BEFORE it reads the note lol

  • mi hai fatto imparare la parte

  • Bellimissio absolutely amazing playing !!!!!!! Happy halloween everyone !!!

  • bello

  • The Like/Dislike Bar looks like pencil ahahahahah

  • Playing tetris to this music

  • I don't see why anyone would dislike this video. I found this easier to learn from than the other tutorials of the Toccata and Fugue on Youtube. Thank you for this video. :)

  • i know thas song from 10 years old im now 20 and know play this

    very proffesional song

  • 2:46.. isnt that a theme song for a SNES or a NES game that is like zelda?

  • midi file? for synthesia?

  • people actullay play this with their hands??! O.O

  • i have been searching for this song for a while until today, at first i thought is was by beethoven, then i tried mozart, then i typed in organ music for halloween and i found it atlast!!

  • This song is freaking awesome

  • Sounds like a sick machine playing one of the greatest pieces in music - sorry, no way.

  • ...i kinda liked it

  • what website

  • i learned to 1:12 it sounds like and ending so i will stop and learn when i am ready, thanks allot for posting this!

  • 2:00 what the heck!!!!?????

  • i got only 5 fingers on my right hand for 0:33 please correct that somehow.

  • @spiralwizards Doesn't need to be corrected. Left pinky on the D, Left thumb on the D-flat.

  • @SystemicMusicality thanks :)

  • I'm BOTH PISSED AND SICK OF DAT MUSIC!!!!!!!!!!!!!! god... like da first 2 minutes I was like ok dis is good but then... SAVE ME 911 people >>> I'ma turn DEAF!

  • didn't sound nice

  • Ultimate Bowser theme lolol

  • 0:33 what the shit, I got only five fingers on my right hand!

  • ...my brain hurts trying to figure out how to play this one...

  • @kungfum1 its 8,333.. minutes. I really facepalmed when i heard this cuz listening to it irl with someone who actually puts some effort and heart into it is so much more amazing. My grandpa is a cantor and he has played it for me so many times that i know the whole piece by heart.

My granpa would cry if he ever heard this...

  • This is way it play organ (h)

    Sometimes it's a bit 'computerish' but that's normal :)

  • 2:44 Sounds like Tetris!

  • why cant they make music like this any more, now all were left with is Justin bieber and lady Gaygay.

  • Thumbs up if you identify the "Plug in Baby" part (1:14)

  • @96KIKE96 I did!

thumbs up if you identify 4:20 (or just all over the place) in your world (and possibly a lot of japanese anime songs like Sequentia - asriel or orochimaru's theme)

  • there was me thinking i want to learn this song... quickly change my mind and went on to a kesha song loo

  • at 2:08 i paused and decided to try to learn a different song...

  • @ItsMillerTime1551 Ah that's not the hardest part. THe toccata is a walk in the park... Look at the fugue.

  • lol instead of guitar hero, organ hero

  • @Frogboss6 ROFLMAO!!! xD

  • @Frogboss6 Last Levels Piece.;)

  • And more than one keyborad, usually 3 or 4.

  • too bad no one respects classical music anymore.

  • it doesn't sound like pipe organ, more like street organ

  • this is the music ive been wanting thank you so much!!

  • @kungfum1 not including the picture...

  • lol

  • Is there a download for this btw?

  • ORGAN HERO!!! LOL

  • ok there are several parts of this that require 3 hands to play, <.<;

  • 2:33

  • Now to find an dark castle on a mountaintop with an organ where I can play this!

  • @kirbymaster1231 k. In that case it's pretty close--congrats

  • nice

  • @kirbymaster1231 you're being too hard on yourself - a composer is one who composes music, a musician is one who plays. In my way of viewing the world everyone is a musician - even if some can only play the triangle well. Actually being able to create a tune on a keyboard instrument is a lot more advanced than that.

  • @kirbymaster1231 another reason I like software music is the version of tocatta and fugue on the videogame gyruss - youtube it and compare!

  • @kirbymaster1231 Yes, it's most effective with pedals when played on a non-software instrument.

There are some nice piano arrangements, and Bach did some amazing stuff that's now mainly played on the piano (think it was invented about 200 years later without googling it) but this was written for a full concert hall organ.

I'm qualified all to heck in music and compose on software nowadays because of people like Wendy Carlos, but I think if you can play a tune on anything you're a musician. :)

  • @kirbymaster1231 What's on the screen is the software he used to generate it.

  • I'm sorry, you can successfully emulate this but you haven't here.

An organist makes choices about note sustainment which vary the piece, and as a programming musician you can gain that control over your notes.

You are approaching discipline here - it's a wonderful transcription. A possible idea to progress towards an artistic performance might be to use two sessions to generate left and right hand so you can develop the phrasing that is at the centre of Bach's writing.

  • 2:33 looks like orochimaru's theme :P

  • This is an awesome song. I'm learning how to play it on the piano, it's not easy so I will refer back to this when I need help. Great information and playing!

  • 1:08 crap

  • Cool now I could try to learn it (or at least the first notes :D)

  • @mihaistoica28 Try with your feet also.

  • Ahhh read the sheet please there are lots of mistake

  • What the download link please? :)

  • Hey, Look, ORGAN HERO!

  • 0:58 In B flat !

  • if i have 4 hands i can play this

  • @mihaistoica28 no, you need only three hands

  • @TonyWRO Actually, two hands, two feet, and and organ.

  • friggin piano hero

  • this is bullshit

  • Hate to break it to you, but it wouldn't be a surprise if it was being played by the computer itself.

  • @gmanghost the computer is playing it dumbass

  • yeah! please insert version slow!!

  • Theres a lot of errors on this one, check the actual sheet music ;)

  • I really hate that this piece is more famous than many of Bach's other, superior organ works. This may or may not even have been written by him!

  • lol the hair on my back stood at 0:30

  • does anyone know where i can get a free midi for this?

  • 2:33 ~ 2: 39 < first thing I ever learned on the piano. never learned Toccata but as far as Fugue goes, after 2:39 I'm lost.

  • Bach did this song when he thought of the pianists who would play

  • learned the first minute :P the rest is omfgwtfbbq

  • my favorite part was from 0:00 to 8:20. §

  • @MinecraftFann vá para o inferno

  • Comment removed

  • very surreal

  • tocatta funebre de bach

  • I can play up to like 0:39 then I'm lost!!!

  • 1:15 souds like crap

  • @thestuffguy100 : there are lot moments that ''sound like crap'' but still it's a great tutorial if all you need is - what keys are pressed

  • @thestuffguy100 Lrn2Spell.jpg

  • @thestuffguy100 Is it because it sort of resembles the intro of through fire and flames? Just a suggestion :P

  • @RockWeShall not really its just that the blue notes sound like a single one when they should have more space between them. Listen to another version and you'll notice.

  • @thestuffguy100

helluva lot better than anything you could ever pull off. you can't even type correctly so you're probably lucky if you could play three consecutive notes on an organ or a piano without error.

    peasant.

  • @thestuffguy100 Bach doesn't crap

  • I can't believe how difficult this piece of art is. i guess only masters can play it

  • This is f*ck'impossible. I lack a third hand to play this correctly.

  • lol

  • conte dracula! my preferite song

  • @0:32 6 finger chord?

  • @Grizzlies54 that was meant for the organ, you know the organ has pedals

so in 0:32(if you have an organ) press the d pedal and you can do the 6 finger chord with your left and right hand, easy...

  • @Grizzlies54 Lol maybe Bach had six fingers on each hand. Jk, ValenAces is right.

  • wow....and i thought playing the organ as a kid was a chore....now i wish i had it back again

  • The toccata returns at 7:10?

NO! The toccata is the prelude, the piece before the fugue. What we can hear from 7:10 and 'till the end, is the concluding sequence of the fugue.

Go learn some music theory, you nipple.

  • SO WONDERFULL!! BRAVO

  • 2:23 - 2:33

    8:01 - 8:20

  • woooow this is the first time ive checked organ fingerings and just wow this stuff looks like itll take years to learn how to play it perfectly and it easily puts guitar hero to shame

  • this is sweet!

  • which is the name of the digital piano program

  • @maxmiau I think its called synthesia

  • I've almost got the first page down... still a lot to learn
