Under Obama's tax plan your taxes will not be hiked. He's made it very clear, to anyone with the eyes to see, that the 3% increase will be on PROFITS over 250k, not REVENUES.

In essence, he's going back to the Clinton tax scheme. You might remember that one, you know, from back when there was a surplus... back before a trillion+ was dumped into bombing tents.

First of all we need to really get the forms from the IRS that will tell us what tax bracket we all fall in. I work 10-12 hrs/7 days-a week to make a living. I also can write off alot of my taxes, because I work out of town. So I guess I am in a win/tie situation so to speak.

As for why do Americans pay taxes...To fund things like military, schools to teach your kids, roads to transport goods and military in chance of invasion, safety forces, if you loose you job and are evicted public housing

Congress doesn't have to pass anything to get Fairness Doctrine reinacted. They just have to decide to make the FCC enforce it. While it doesn't mean talk radio will be taken off immediately, it is essentially the same means to an end that liberals are seeking. By having to share air time with opposing thoughts, the stations would lose tons of money supporting liberal views that no wants to hear. They have tried and failed... ie Air America.
