Rudi's umpiring is very dodgy. Remember when he gave Sanga out on 194 in Hobart when Lanka were only 100 runs away from a victory. The ball hit his shoulder when his bat was below his chest. Ridiculous umpiring

Unlike red wine Rudy got worse with age. That shut became the norm in his last few years, he was fucking shocking.

That first one was dead set plum as for the second he almost hit it for four. Bell - most over rated player ever. I've seen him make 1 good 100 against the saffas 2 years ago in the drawn series. Other that that he beats up on minnos or makes 100's when 1 or 2 of the top order make them. Piss weak and watching him against the pakies was comical just like when Warne and McGrath us

First one was dead straight. Terrible from Rudi. I think its the shape that Mitch imparted to the ball that made it to swing rather than seam being unscrambled/scrambled. Bit like how Malinga bowls those out-swingers.

Regarding the second, at 1:00 you clearly see a deflection which seems to be off the bat. Side-on hotspot should be able to show that.

I saw the 2nd decision like 10 times & I'm still not convinced that there isn't an edge. I think he hits it. Doesn't matter though. First one was stone dead. He shouldn't have had the opportunity to play the 2nd ball..

how does mitch get the ball to swing with that scrambled seam? He swung it like that at the WACA in the ashes as well. Maybe we don't understand swing bowling properly :S

@nottellingu0 If he was Pakistani he'd get it to swing by biting it or putting vaseline on one side. You'll notice though that when he does swing it (when he's not at the WACA), that the seam is more upright than his usual tumbling all over the place seam. It's not bolt upright but when it swings, it's usually at least keeping the different sides of the ball in the same position.
