I've seen good & bad reviews. I think it has to do with attitude. With anything in life you can choose what to focus on. Focus on the beauty. I was blown away by how beautiful it was. I was a little leary about some of the negative reviews on trip advisor.. but your video is so great.. one of the best ones I've seen so far.. and it has finalized my decision to visit this beautiful place.. it looks amazing on video.. I can only imagine being there.. I can't wait!!!

My boyfriend and I are planning a trip to this resort next month and we are SO excited!!! Your videos are some of the best and most recent I've seen... did you fly directly to the airport in Samana or did you fly into Santo Domingo?
Thanks Sunedlyt! Directly into Samana. But it was a 2 hour bumpy bus ride to Grand Paradise. Worth the wait though. I love that it's so remote and beautiful. We were there Feb 8-16 2010.

We are SO excited about getting away! 2hours! None of the info I read mentioned that! We are flying into Santo Domingo as there are no US flights to EPS Airport. Any must dos that you suggest? Also how were the rooms? We have reserved a bungalow
Thanks Lu. I think I sound pretty silly. Could have done a better job narrating! Tee hee. Oh well. And in the sunlight it was hard to see the screen, it was dark so I couldn't see what I was filming (which I mention in the video). Oh well I had fun doing it anyway and I'm glad to have the videos to remember the trip.
