I always wondered about that -- not so much about the "hero" over "ninja", I think that's self-evident (one's more provocative over the other). But why edit out something like nunchucks rather than one of the other weapons, like the sword? It strictly cultural, or something else?
I'll say yes with confidence, because they did the same thing with Michaelangelo in "Hero" Turtles when that original cartoon series was broadcast over here...
