  • Dear Astronomer, i just bought he LX200GPS 12" with the Wedge.

But i don't have the bold which fits in front of the baseplate of the Meade Super Wedge.

Is this a English size bold ? Who knows this size ?

    Thanks so much !

    Bye Danny

  • Indeed, where is the rest :-(

I just want to buy a LX200 12" with the Meade wedge. I'am looking for demo material and Polar alignment. Thx.

  • ya Where is the rest of the stuff, does this guy even review his own video before posting , thumbs down.

  • But that's a 14" is it not or the 12" ? I'm reading reports from certain forums if you attach these special lifting handles to your 14" it can become manageable and basically more portable...

  • If you are a Strong Armed Man ,you can Lift up to a 12" Schmidt-Cassegrain Optical Tube Assembly(OTA abbrev.). But the 14" whether Meade or Celestron Requires a 2 Man Lift into the Front of the Equatorial Wedge Front Bolt. If you have a CELESTRON CGT-5 Advanced,CGEM,GGEM DX or CGE Pro, A 1 Man with Strong Arms can Just Manage the 14" Schmidt-Cassegrain Optical Tube because you Only have to Slide it onto the DoveTail Rest Plate then Tightening 2 Holding Hand Bolts with Wide Nut Heads on Tripod!!

  • Question.... Is that the 14" or 16" ? How hard is it to lift into place ?

  • Nice start but where's the rest?

  • Geek.
