In order to have a global flood like the size mentioned in the bible, you would need about 3 times the water in all of our oceans. A boat that size wouldn't stand a chance floating on water.

What we really should be looking for is compelling physical (not 'written') evidence of these amazing events, of which there is little to none for the biblical flood (including several ecological, geological and hydrological impossibilities).

@movieshop1000 I am afraid your first two questions(opinions) are not enough to prove that the bible is real. In the bible, God told Noah to build a large boat. Would he dare the flee alone and give a one-finger salute to God? If he fled, then most likely, this story wouldn't even make it into the bible.
In order to have a global flood like the size mentioned in the bible, you would need about 3 times the water in all of our oceans. A boat that size wouldn't stand a chance floating on water.

Stories can also get recycled and passed on from culture to culture quite easily. What we really should be looking for is compelling physical (not 'written') evidence of these amazing events, of which there is little to none for the biblical flood (including several ecological, geological and hydrological impossibilities).

Gladly when I had some serious childhood bronchitis, my friends got me meds...My parents were so brainwashed by mysticysim and fairy tales they actually thought my cure would be some prayers and tipping my bed on one end to help drain my lungs. They thought hospitals and doctors were satanic because the snake wrapped around the stick symbol that has been a symbol for medicine for thousands of years.

I don't need to go to a church to find friendly people. And the fact I find normal people outside of a cult means that they they are genuinely friendly and not just being friendly because they're at church.
