I've gone over most of these songs from "The Hunter" album. I like the mix of styles. Progressive rock and metal is getting pretty popular again. On the lighter side, I have been grooving the newer Marillion. I like bands that explore new territory and keep it interesting.

I've been a fan of Mastodon for some years now. I've been listening to this album 5 or 6 times now. I do not care for it at all. although it is a remarkable achievement for Mastodon to become what they are. They continue to create good albums thoughout the years. But this, this doesn't create that atmosphere or experience i expect for Mastodon. This is by far their worst release. But then again it is all about taste.

When Neurosis' upcoming album will be released. This is nothing in comparison

Seems like Troy really pushes himself vocally here and nails it.
