Our local singers can belt out high notes but can't produce a powerful full golden chest voice like charice & whitney. this is what those people doesn't know..hitting a note in the same volume is extraordinary at a young age, normally when you hit a high notes the tendency of the voice is to change or crackdown but if you listen to Charice voice, it didn't changed, from the low to the highest notes & that was David Foster meant, indescribable " she is not " screaming" when she's singing coz the timber of her voice is still the same. She hit high but the story of the song is still there....

I honestly DISLIKEd this video as the people including the host obviously don't know how to appreciate real and true talent. Their critique is way off. Italians who are opera and music lovers were in awe when she sang live including at least 1 Italian song. There are even news that she's gonna do recordings in Japan and possibly in France. On top of that she has a contract with Warner Records, USA. She's under the guidance of DF. Hall of Famer DW wrote songs 4 her.

Other than charice, no filipino singer can emulate LIVE a world legend like whitney houston. At her age it is such an amazing feat. Our local singers can belt out high notes but can't produce a powerful full golden chest voice like charice & whitney. Regine can SCREAM high but she can't produce full-bodied sounds that cool and angelic to the ear like the voices of kuh, charice, whitney, mariah. Im really scratchin my head at this clowns comments - was he the judge on Little Big Star? I imagine those Judges are quite embarrassed by her success now. as a fil-am, i honestly feel disgusted by some native filipinos. stop hating & be supportive of someone who's actually representing the country well. sure there's a lot of talented singers in the philippines, but comparing them to charice is like apples & oranges...you can't! a lot of filipino singers sound similar to each other anyway, whereas charice stands out on her own. i don't see any famous-celeb filipino singers getting attention from the likes of ellen, oprah, & david foster.
