  • i envy your first world tools... haha

    nice work!

  • You are proof-positive that some people receive extra protection from God than others.

  • haha you are an honest man.... most diy is like this eh! Is this not really heavy though?

  • nice place ! lol

  • Man! You are slob! I am glad I don't live near you. No offense. I like you... but you never clean up behind yourself.

  • i'm surprised you haven't cut your hand off yet

  • you laugh and blow ppl's comments off, but when you lose a finger (or worse) it will wake your ass up (I hope)

  • dude, that was AWESOME!!!!! i like how it was educational but suspenseful, lol=] btw, NEVER SHOW THIS TO YOUR MOM!!!!

  • soooo ..... is this coop still in use - and how east is it too move?

  • Great chicken tractor man! I built most of mine out of pallets too. You cant beat free lumber! Also bud...you may want to invest in some Body Armor before you use that table saw again. :D

  • thank you. my hens will be in love with you

    kiki

  • Too bad the camera wasn't the right direction for some :( Intersting use of materials, am using some pallet materials myself, but would disassemble first myself for a cleaner look. I would have made this more level, square, and better roofing for durability in wind....

  • Holy shit. You should be in a cubical somewhere so you don't harm your self or others. Who gave you power tools? Damn... You scared the hell out of me with the table saw.

  • How many fingers have you lost so far? I also like the way you lean over the table saw blade to turn it on. you're asking for trouble. stop being a dope!

  • I like how he tries to tell you how to do this while all along he has no clue what he's doing. I hope this guy has good health insurance... I certainly don't want the gov. health plan trying to fix this guy every weekend. Then you know it will fail...

  • what a sloppy mess. this guy has no clue what he is doing and should not be allowed anywhere near power tools

  • Fearless carpentry. Its not what you know, its what you do. Good job, although when you almost knocked the saw over and reached out to steady it, it scared the crap out of me!

  • Wow, the comments have been brutal! I think you did a great job. Very functional and best of all reused materials! Working on my own pallet recycling design tractor, but it won't be done until spring.

Good job and enjoy those eggs!!

  • Lets just hope no one learns any carpentry skills from you. maybe you could make some nice lawn ornaments from your pallets?

  • oh my god!that is the worst carpentry i have ever seen!but i guess you have the right idea!hope you can keep all your fingers!

  • wow ill bet you neighbors love you with all that junk spilling out of your yard!

  • I like your idea to recycle and use extra materials around. I hope it works out well and is strong enough when you are moving it around the yard but if and it falls apart then some more practice building might be beneficial anyway.

  • you're an idiot!

  • metel cutting blade on sawsall and then build with clean lumber. remind me to not get i from ur design ...all the excise pieces weigh down the tractor. the idea is light and strong and you have not met eighter of them. way to recycle. watch for my posts this summer and I'll show you cheap and well built chicken structures.

  • like the idea

  • Jig Saw!! Buy one!!

  • Watch Out For Weasels They Will Dig Under

  • ha, this is hilarious! careful you don't cut yourself with that table saw!! Good job reusing salvage materials!

  • Cool man! screw the haters!

You got the job done. Pallets are a pain in the ass to take apart.

  • ya they use like screw that are twisted but bient kinda

  • good job liseman. i think if you would have used a circular saw, instead of table saw it would have been easier and kept most of these people from complaining

  • Seriously learn how to run a camera. That was annoying.

  • Good idea but, implementation was scary with your wild use of tools.

  • almost lost your finger :D

  • The person that sold you power tools should be brought up on charges.

  • Hey DuDe, Great Project - I will make me one - Thank you!

  • I think you're right on. And you are so cute.

Recycling is where its at, gardening is where its at, and chickens are so grooovy.

Now if you come across some old lawnmower wheels you can put them on one end so you can roll this around the yard and they can poop everywhere and make everything grow.

  • It's great that you are re using pallets but you are just an accident waiting to happen, get your fingers away from the back of the staple gun for Pete's sake! You don't know when a staple might go straight through the wood!!!

  • whatever: stop complaining about me and go build something cooler yourself:)

  • I admire your enthusiasm, but wow, putting an unguided piece of wood backward through a table saw--- I was actually yelling at the video trying to tell you to stop!

  • very nice idea, but for pity's sake DON'T flip the cam 90º; vids aren't like photos, they can't be rotated!

also, what was that constant thumping?

  • thanks intigfx. yeah, the thumping was my autofocus. lesson learned: don't set autofocus to continuous on a cheap digital camera:)

  • how bored are you?

  • dude, i will sic my chickens on you, and they are FIERCE:)

  • cue music. Teenage Mutant Ninja Chickens, Teenage Mutant Ninja Chickens...sorry. The idea of sicing chickens on someone just brought out my silly side.

Thank you for posting this. We are about to build a movable coop for our chickens. Your video was very helpful.
