It has proven to be a driver's race of intake/race header/exhaust + PFC with k'proed RSX-S.
Don't forget the Corolla XRS 2ZZ has an intake manifold coming out that is consistently putting out a shocking 23 wheel HP more bringing HP up to 225 - 230 wheel HP. It will be blood bath for the RSX after that considering XRS weighs 300 lbs less.
lift is great. too bad its a lil too short. a friend of mine has the xrs... and it is something. my friend recently got a 08 civic si sedan stock and pulls my friends corolla xrs w/ CAI. both are good cars with great motors with A LOT of potential
did the tune increase the xrs's redline? i always thought that was its weakness .. cause my friend had an xrs and i blew him away everytime with my 06 rsx-s, but thats because everytime he shifted, he'd drop out of lift. then again, the guy in this vid raced an 02-04 rsx with the lower final drive and longer gears. whatever, that was still a nice and close run
Stock XRS should still run 14.9 - 15.1 with a good driver. This modded XRS runs 14.0 - 14.1@99 mph so it took out the modded RSX by 2+ car lengths. XRS redline is at 8400 rpm stock. This XRS is PFC'ed dyno'ing at 190 wheel HP (remember XRS weighs only 2600 pounds) where the tune raises limit to 8600 rpm and lift engages at only 5500 rpm.
I love cars that don't usually get any love. Especially when they are exceptionally quick for what they are. Nice XRS.
As for the camera car, I could've made a ham sandwhich in between his shifts. I hope he don't actually go out and race people driving like that. His driving is teh failz.

According to what you're saying, because the gas pedal is actually a rheostat or potentiometer, he has to concentrate on giving it just enough throttle to go into the next gear which means he should totally blank out on the shifter and the clutch pedal. Is that what you're saying? You, sir are an idiot.

a I/H/E reflashed 05-06 is usualyl at 210 at the wheel, so that would make a much more interesting race
