  • I like how Lexington is smart enough to bolt it when the robot pulls out a gun and the other gargoyles are like "What? What going on man?" and he doesnt even bother telling them to run. It he thinks "screw them it natural selection"

  • any 1 els thought stark enterprise iron man

  • I like how Elisa uses the "German Three" when talking about the disks.

  • 4:38 Brooklyn is seen having trouble carrying unconscious Lexington. Yet in other episodes he is seen carrying, lifting, and throwing fully grown men bigger then Lexington. In Temptation, he is seen able to stand with the weight of three men on him with ease.

  • where is demona's other boob?

  • Man, I love Xanatos' voice actor.

  • @MeanMrsMustard9 I don't know if anyone's told you yet, but that's Johnathan Frakes, aka Will Riker from Star Trek, the Next Generation. Several voice actors from that show where on this one. Demona is Marina Siritis, Michael Dorn, and Brent Spiner also.

  • In today world not even a billionaire would be able to afford to maintain these robot gargoyles due to high gas price.

  • 4:40: "Holy Shit, you're heavy."

  • 5:38 was cool (AHhhh He's got my tail, he's got my tail! Get him off me)

  • Comment removed

  • 5:26 "What's all the noise? You assholes are interrupting Jeopardy!"

  • THAT IS THE BIGGEST FLOPPY DISK EVER.

  • Brooklyn wears his stunna glasses at night

  • @nmisa

    haha

  • Does anyone else wonder why Hudson's the only one who gets a weapon?

  • @Riku006 I think his age and the fact that he can only see out of one eye mean that he needs a 'crutch' to compensate

  • @Riku006 Because giving Goliath a bazooka would be overkill. Glorious, glorious overkill.

  • @karnewarrior I know, but oh how I would kill to see that.

  • @ 6:03 when that robot looked at that gargoyle dude i thought the robot was gunna counter!!! well it seems older cartoons are alot more suprizing=D

  • floppy disks and laser beam guns.... still way in the future!!!

  • I was ether 7 or 8 when it came out. We had it on VHS and played the bored game at the end. :) it was fun.

  • 4:35 and the lasers don't hurt as a good touch

  • 1:05 S0beit! :D

  • they all look like Goliath hmmm i wonder who came up with that....

  • Two down 8 to go

  • I lived in 1993 and I remember my kindergarder teachers showing me how the dino computers and floppy disks worked......DX I feel so old now.

  • @ThisAnimeGal me too :) the 90s seem soo far away now :(

  • @ThisAnimeGal I was born in 1980. Imagine how I feel. :D

  • whats even funner is that they have laserguns and flying forrtesses as well

  • @brawler707:

I lived in 1994, and I have no memory whatsoever of seeing technology like that.

  • @menslady125 u wouldve onli been 6 by 2000 so yeah u wouldnt remember the 90s much :)

  • @AnimeLoverForever16:

    Dude, I turned 10 in 1994.

  • lol-floppy disks, what is that 3.5 megs lol

  • the mecha goliaths were pretty cool but they could never compare to the original

  • "I will have blood for blood!" what did she mean by that?

  • @khmcalister she meant the blood for there other dead gargoyles that those vikings had killed at the same castle there at a long time ago for the blood of the humans...she wanted revenge on humans basically...it explains it better on the first episode why she hates humans so much...

  • @khmcalister City of Stone gives something of a better explanation. Not only was her clan destroyed, but in that it is shown she was also let down by the captain who promised HER they would still be safe. But her blaming the humans is actually her regret, cause deep down SHE knows she was really to blame for it. If she had not made the deal with the captain, they could have never sacked the castle, and the others would still be alive

  • "I can not make war upon an entire WORLD"

  • 4:01 Lexington is TOTAL gtfo XD

  • It is a rare moment when Hudson gets to plunge his sword into someone/something. His sword is mainly used for defense and scare tactics. Go get 'em Hudson!

  • "I CANNOT MAKE WAR UPON AN ENTIRE WORRRLD!!"

Keith David- greatest voice actor of all time?

  • 2:23 that is the face of the used.

  • Hudson sliced em

  • Hudson is so badass

  • "they can fly instead of glide...and best of all they are 100% obedient." one problem: they aren't 100% goliath proof biatch!

  • OH SHIT! The female gargoyle is going to kill me!! 0o0

  • It's Terminator Goliath!!!

  • You know, Is it just me or is it very cool how they can use their wings as cape.

  • @Devastator1775 batman

  • HAHA floppy disks ...future my ass thats so th 90's

  • @Shanongao way to make me feel old ;) felt old when i saw zanatos put in a vhs in his huge vcr

  • @Shanongao

yet this cartoon was in the 90's.

  • @Shanongao I'm going to put important information on one of those just to prove you wrong

  • @Shanongao no u heardt it wrong it are hard disk and the got fat flat screens to watch whit more... u think of somthing

  • 0:00-0:06 (end of statement) me: somehow i doubt that

  • 4:01 Good animation! The way Lexington skittered away!

Now that was a wicked awesome roar Hudson gave when he stabbed that robo-gargoyle!

  • 5:39 It's moments like that which make me wonder why Xanatos bothered to give the Steel Clan tails

  • @MarcusSLazarus Tails are very useful. I remember reading about robotics researchers realizing that they needed to put a tail on a robot gecko (like a real one), or when it fell it would fall on it's back. Tails help balance, orient in mid-air, etc.

  • @MarcusSLazarus I think the steel clan needed tails to help them steer. Atleast, I think....

  • It's strange to think that my kids will grow up in a world without floppy discs. March of progress.

  • Brooklyn and those sunglasses crack me up XD

  • I wish they had a game for Gargoyles. That would be sweet. Hmm... since they're Disney... KINGDOM HEARTS! I would so buy the next game if it featured them! *O*

  • @Persona100Duh

they did release a gargoyles video game, but i dont remember which console it is for

  • @tinmanluver35 They did? *O*

I'll have to look it up. Thank you! :D

  • @tinmanluver35 i remember playing a gargoyle board game with a VHS with questions and challenges to be completed all with in under one hour to bad they dont make VHS games any more =/

  • @tinmanluver35 that would be a sega game.

  • 3:15 Demona's rape face.....

  • Anyone know if they've released Gargoyles on DVD/Blu-ray yet? I would LOVE to know what animals they used as the sources for the Gargoyle cries!

  • 3:30 dude is all you do is eat all day and gain more pounds?!

  • 5:48

    Bronx: Nope, nope, NOPE!

    Hudson: NOOOO!

  • 5:50 Yes I'd like to order a heaping helping of BADASS with a large side of EPIC! Thank you.

  • Brooklyn looks like moe from the simpsons

  • Hudson's slash is PERFECT!!!

  • Just realized that Demona is actually a HOT female gargoyles. It's a pity she's a bitch =.=

  • @quanarius Yeaaaaah......

  • XD so of the tech in here is like dinosaur to nowadays (lexington's laptop) but then some of it doesn't even exist (laser guns) i find that ironic

  • Today's moral: Never put your logo on a tracking device :).

  • Is it me or does Broadway have the same voice as Patrick from Spongebob?

  • @tonytonesis He does. Bill Fagerbakke

  • batman arkham asylum!

  • Goliath is gonna kick some ass

  • Goliath curled that ho! I wanna be like Goliath lol

  • Lexington looks like that he's anorexic.

  • Lexington is so damn Cute.

Look at him at 3:20 xD

  • The billionare using them am I right? The gargoyles I mean.

  • That was so sad he basically broke up with desdemona =(

  • Fooookin Xanatooooos

  • @Montesama yeah but the disks BELONGED to Xanatos. Nothing was stolen. He was probably thinking that having real gargoyles around would be an asset> but like he said. You cant really control Goliath, and if he cant be controled then goliath would be too much trouble

  • I LOLed and lex hunting and pecking on the computer

  • Nothing quite says "I love you" like blowing up your girlfriend's father's company.

  • I love this show!

  • Dame 3 how dislike this.

  • Ok, if he had cybernetic gargoyles why did he bother with the real ones? How phenomenally rich is this man??

But then, details don't matter. He is an awesome villain. And his evil henchman is the perfect unsmiling accompaniment to his charisma.

  • @TheWanderingCactus He mentions the information on the disks brought them to life. He must have had them built, but with no way to program them they were useless. He needed to bring the gargoyles, the only ones strong and capable enough, to live to retrive the disks for programing his personal army.

  • Broadway: "What are those things?"

Lexington's thought bubble: [I don't know, but I'm not sticking around to find out!!]

  • Broadway: "What are those things?"

Lexington's thought bubble: [I'm not sticking around to find out!!]

  • those three losers must have accidently hit the dislike button. for real, you cant go wrong with gargoyles.

  • How exactly was killing the 6 surviving gargoyles from the Wyvern clan supposed to make the humans pay for killing the others 1000 years ago? I never understood the logic behind that.

  • Yes! I've been waiting for Hudson to use his sword.

  • lol that was alot of effort for 3 floppy disks, thats like 4.32mb of data on standard 3 1/2inch >.<

  • @khaan300 Those Disks might be advanced enough, to contain more data, on each one of them.

  • Demona is a hypocrite... Ugh she's a such Bi.. witch..

  • Elisa and Goliath=Beauty and the Beast

  • Demona says Humans are evil yet she joins the evil humans...

  • finally hudson uses the sword for actual good use

  • mutants

  • Did you see the size of those disks? They're bigger than Xanatos' hand. You go, 90's technology!

  • @ElJayButter, 5¼″ floppies FTW!! :-)

  • (Actually, the disks appear to be more along the lines of the Iomega 5¼″ Bernoulli disks that had some popularity around that time, which used floppy disk technology to store some 20MB or so of data. It was the technology that was later reduced in size to create their more famous Zip disks, which started at 100MB and went to 250MB before finally being retired in favor of true portable hard drives. Recordable CDs and later DVDs and now "thumb" Flash drives have made all these obsolete.)

  • @ElJayButter, since you like 90s technology in TV shows, have you seen this?

    /watch?v=JMLH_QyPTYM

  • Wait, I don't get the logic here. Xanatos spends millions moving the castle onto the skyscraper to revive the gargoyles so he can set them up to steal three disks, and then he just replaces them? If he was always intending to replace them (hence the already completed Goliath drones) why spend the money to move the castle and free them?

Also, the staged theft in ep 1 caused an investigation, making it even more of a bad decision. Couldn't Xanatos use his goons to steal the disks directly?

  • @shayaan2354 If you watch later episodes Xanatos explains that even when his plans don't work there is still something to be gained in the loss.

  • @shayaan2354 I think he made the robots before moving the castle, as a 'Just in case they don't wake up' back-up plan.

  • How can the centuries change them if they were asleep the whole time?

  • @nadrixam To them Humans and gns and computers etc is new.

  • paid all that money to bring them there, then to use them, then to ultimately kill em

damn dude is 1 bad mofo

  • hudson: YO DONT SHOOT MY DOG MAN AARRRGHHHHHHH

  • yes but hudson cab glide while carrying bronx and hes old

  • You know if Fox hadn't come along I could definatly see Demona and Xanatos together as a couple. Especialy during seen 3:10-3:18.

  • Zanatos always reminded me of Lex Luthor. Think of it, rich, big wig type of guy, who uses supertechnology to combat his enemies? All he's missing is a bald head.

  • 0:37 oops! bad example

  • I swear, Xanatos spouts so much crap, you could fertilize your lawn with one of his speeches.

  • its kinda sad when one lets revangecloud there mind kinda like how mankind is to one another a shame really

  • Brooklyn's strong enough to tear Metal Plating open, but Lexington's is heavy to him?

Did they miss a detail, or is it supposed to be like Gargoyle Muscle is heavier than metal?

  • With claws strong enough to leave marks on stone, I say that they are strong enough for metal.

They must've used light metal to make it less heavier for lift.

  • ............I know how strong he is, that's the point of my question

He's strong enough to put claw marks in stone, tear metal doors of their hinges, and rip metal plating to pieces

But Lex is heavy? Is it supposed to be that Gargoyle muscle is heavier than steel?

  • Or maby its that theyr wings arnt as stong as theyr arms are. Ripping through metal steel and stone is using your arms and claws. Carrying someone while gliding is using theyr wing strenth. Theyr wings are strong but theyr not as thick as your arms. Theyr wings are built for they own body type, not 2 bodys.

  • @BloodyFlesh626 Point Proven, afterall they can only glide not fly, i bet if they could fly it'd be a littel easier for brook to carry Lex

  • Yep^_^Probably.

  • @CyndellWarrior

Maybe its like.....stone? Since they do turn to stone....yeah....confusion there.

  • Comment removed

  • 5:53 awesome

  • Xanatos. Sucks. Dick

  • @pigsrockmyak47 Amen to that.

  • Xanatos. Rocks. Hard.

  • @pigsrockmyak47 he saved them, but not for their sake.

  • He hasn't seen her in a thousand years and he goes of to see ELISA?! Goliath is ruthless lol

  • Jonathan Frakes ftw

  • You can't blame the many for the act's of a few.

  • So Demona want's to help them by letting Xanatos kill them....? Man she's an even bigger bitch than I thought.

  • Sunglasses at night haha i love Brooklyn

  • Demona says that she'll make the descendants of those that killed her kind pay. So how come she never waged war on Wolf, who later turns out to be a direct descendant of Hakon?

  • She probably didn't know that Wolf was Hakon's descendant, I haven't rewatched the ep yet, but didn't Wolf himself only find out when he found something (an axe, I think) that had Hakon's spirit in it?

  • yes

  • @Jyger85

    a la Leeroy Jenkins:

    "PLOTHOOOOOOOOOOOOOLE, ssssssss-CENTRAAAAAAAALL!!

  • brooklyn looks so badass in those glasses!

  • @fbdarkangel He's my favorite! That beak is really cool.

  • 3:36 where's iron man when you need him..lol!

  • "I've waited a thousand years to see you my love....ok we've spent about half an hour together again I got to meet this chick from last night bye."

    smooth Goliath

  • man you got to love it when bronx just take down the robot gargoyle

  • Demona might be bad, but u cant blam her for it, The humans should her no kindness, latter on she alway's try's to kill her lovebut she never dous, same with the kid,

  • some did actually show kindness and acceptance, but that's in later episodes in flashbacks, what's sad is the reasons she's so bitter are actually her fault and some bad decisions and bad timing, you see it in later episodes

  • 5:53 Hudson = Awesome

  • Lexington is the most amazing Gargoyle. The others may be bigger and stronger, but Lexington goes from A.D. 994 medieval era to 1994 and, in less than ½ a week, already has learned to use computers.

Later in the series, he demonstrates advanced hacker skills.

    His I.Q. must be phenomenal!

  • He's an inventor. Of course he's adapted! He was probably out-of-place when he was.

  • i know lexington is a beast

  • @COMALiteJ It helps that he's the youngest gargoyle; there have been studies to prove the "you can't teach an old dog new tricks" saying.

  • @ztslovebird, Lex may be the youngest, but if so, it would only be by a short time (not even a year). He, Brooklyn, and Broadway were rookery mates, remember? They were in a single batch of eggs, which would've hatched within days of each other — maybe weeks at the most.

Hudson is the eldest generation, Goliath and Demona the next generation, and the Trio the youngest generation. Not sure how old Bronx is.

  • @COMALiteJ Oh, oops! I keep forgetting that little detail! But I think Bronx is from Goliath's generation; he's young enough to still be useful in fights and is very loyal to all of the gargoyles, but old enough to enjoy curling up at Hudson's feet while he watches cable.

  • @COMALiteJ gotta have a hacker. it's 90s law.

  • @COMALiteJ come on he's typing with 1 finger!! TOTAL N00B!

  • @COMALiteJ Aaaaand, he's great with kids!!!

  • @COMALiteJ he should go to MIT or Harvard, bud!

  • those robot goliaths look so fucking badass

  • yes yes they do

  • 4:52-4:56

    5:21-5:26

    5:53-5:57

reasons this is one of the best shows ever created.

    :D

  • I never blamed Demona for hating the human race. She had good reasons for hating the human race because humans were always prejudice, ignorant, and distrustful.

  • but she is also being "prejudice, ignorant, and distrustful" showing that Demona is more human than she thinks^_^

  • thats true allot of human
