Weckl sells CDs that can exclude tracks from any of the instruments, so you can play along no matter what instrument you play. I think you are on the right track by playing to high quality stuff. Keep it up my man! Keep the timing tight though...and maybe for the next step make up a completely new beat for the song rather than mimicking what Weckl does. Play to a metronome as much as possible and soon you'll be tearing it up brother!

it's not the camera. Youtube does it sometimes on it's own when a video is uploaded. I'm not sure why, but it's probably due to some lag issue during the upload. I'm sure his original video is perfectly timed.

Wow...for the first 40 seconds of this video, you have the beat completely backwards; you're interpreting the 2 & 4 as the 1 & 3. You eventually found the time and it was okay, but man that was weird to start with.

Also, I wish the video and sound lined up - bummer.
