I, too, like the original better. I saw her in person years ago in Los Angeles when she sang the original. I wish I had the original LP. Does anyone know where I can purchase it on CD?????

I have the original LP. I played song so much and still love it. It's a classic. Sorry I don't have the tech knowledge transfer it to digital. Good luck in your quest.

I've looked for a copy of this song for 40 years since a friend from LA brought a copy of the album back to me at Howard University in 1969 and I made the mistake of lending it to a disc jockey to play on WHUR only to have him never return it to me. The original is one of the greatest jazz songs ever made. (Everett "Eddie" Eberhardt)
