I went there once when I was in the local scouts to serve tea on a Sunday. Long time ago as I'm now 50. Very scary place with a lot of scary patients. Real Victorian horror house. Should have been preserved as an example of what not to do to people with mental problems. A lot of alchoholics booked themselves in there and used to rush down to Tesco (now an Indian restaurant) on a Saturday morning as it was the nearest off licence. I worked there for a while so I did see the result.

its all about cheap affordable houses and profits. It seems a lot like stuff Britains History Chaep houses are much more exciting. Warlingham Park is a Perfect Example of that.

1894 was a good year. Nice place. Memories. Paranoia Utopia. The opening theme from "The Shining" is very resplendently amalgamated with this exemplifying video of Cane Hill. Anyone ever find the stash of Seated Liberty Dollars buried there by it's first chief confidant? Don't recall. I came into the world with my legs forward and the woman cried " ...... and he was born with teeth" I have no father I am my own father I have no Brother I am my own brother ...... thanks for the memories.

My Aunt use to work in this Hospital in the 80's, we used to frequent the Cane hill social club.. many fond memories. I use to work at another big Asylum called Netherne hospital which was a few miles from Coulsdon. Very good clip.. thank you

there is a place in london colneuy i went to today wich was good but the one for propper nutters is barred up but you couild get in with a crow bar lol but some have asbestos hazard too,
