not true...when you transition into a drift the wheel will actually turn on its own because the front wheels are still tracking the direction they were pointed before the rear tires broke loose..it has nothing to do wtih the wheel returning to center if you watch in the video it is going away from center to full lock...

ahhh no mate... he is bloody good, but the whole brake and clutch thing isnt any different than normal driving. if u get in a manual and slam the brakes on while driving and lock the wheels up, even for a split second like what theyre doin, ur engine will stall. clutch is necessary to disengage the engine from the rest of the drivetrain so when the wheels stop spining, its not stopping the engine

he's not using the clutch to avoid stalling, kicking the clutch in and then out builds up massive revs and releases power in one massive hit, breaking traction. its similar to using the handbrake, but doesnt slow u down like handbrake would do.

were talking about using the brake with the clutch. you go try locking up the rears with no clutch and see what happens. your engine will stall. everyone knows that dropping the clutch at high revs gets more wheel spin. and notice how the clutch is used a whole lot more in braking than when accelerating.

doesnt matter how fast youre going, if its 10km/h or 100km/h. if you lock up the rear wheels, you are stopping the diff from spinning, which stops the tail shaft from spinning, which stops the gearbox from spinning, which finally stops the engine from spinning and causes it to stall... unless of course you push your clutch in, which essentially disconnects the engine from the gearbox and the rest of the driveline and is free to keep running... which is what my point was from the start
