@A7XJORDAN1 - For one thing, KISS do not claim to be metal I believe they are featured heavily in "Metal Hammer" because they look like a metal/ deathcore band (despite their age) I wonder why they continute to, since the consumers of "Metal Hammer" seem to be rather narrow minded in their music taste. Another thing is They don't have mosh pits. (its not because they are "pussies" its because people that attend KISS concerts have a better awareness of their maturity.)
