Thank You for that explanation. Please could you explain your way to such a good improvisor that you are. I´ve been learnt many scales and still working with some books but still lightyears away from your standart. For me it seams to be an endless story to get an good improvisor.
I hope you´ll find the time to give an answer. Thanks very much for all your playing on youtube.
Dick, your informative videos are priceless and educational to those of us curious to know more jazz history. Have you created a similar video on the L5 and Super 400? Many thanks!
A man who has his history up his sleeve, and is willing to share with the world, why? because he's passionate about Jazz, thanks Dick for your time and passion.Vic.
That's exactly the type of string that I was planning on trying next on my Ibanez AS103 semi-hollow, I'm sort of craving for a deeper tone, but haven't decided wether I'm going to get me an archtop this spring or not
excellent. I like Steve Howe's use of this guitar.

Dank je voor dit leuke verhaal.
Zelf bezit ik een Ibanez pre-law-suit versie van deze gitaar en ben voor erg enthousiast over de prettige manier waarop deze te bespelen is.

Great summary of the ES 175. I have one I bought in about 1976. Still have it but don't play it much.
Where can I find out about a laminated vs. a carved top. I don't understand how they laminate it. Thanks
