The trailer looks so good, I'm intrigued! Anyone know where I can find this on DVD in Region 2. I found one in Region 1, but that won't play here in the UK. :( I've looked on Amazon.co.uk, ebay and iTunes but no luck. (Not the right Region.)

Strange. your own website says it is an amerikander film. Libuse was actually only a czech legend with no proof that she existed. the first actual historical ruler was Moimir in 830, the founder of the slavic state of the great moravian empire.
@smithryansmith It's only an American film on paper because it was produced by an American company but of course the story is Czech and the script based on German and Czech sources. The director himself is German with Czech roots.
@darrenmsparrow There are many US reviews and they are linked on the film's Facebook page. The film has not a lot of graphic violence as it is not action driven (only exception: in one scene somebody's eye gets cut out and there is a scene where a prisoner is sacrificed to the Gods) but there is full nudity and some sex scenes which made it rated PG13 in most countries...

I was wondering when this film is going to show up in the US. I saw it in Prague and really loved it. Great place to watch a movie like this one. Very magical and atmospheric. Sort of a Czech King Arthur film but with a female heroine. Good acting by the warrior girl who is on love with the queen. Great camera, music and landscapes. Small movie but worth checking out.
