Congress will not impeach Bush. They may or may not pass a resolution to condemn the conception of Bethany Wilkerson, but they will not go against Bush. This democrat controlled congress is no more effective than the republican one it replaced. Bush has assumed the throne of America.

You fail to see the real problem. Congress has to have a 60% majority in order to override a veto. We say that the Democrats hold a majority, but it's not large enough.

There are Republicans in Congress who will vote party-line. It's up to you and me and a whole lot of hope-against-hope to make things happen.

But, as long as candidates owe their souls to the company store, it ain't gonna happen.

Bush is the President of the United States of America. No one is condemning the conception of Bethany, just the stupidity of her PARENTS. If people are going to have children, they should not counting on the government to feed, cloth, and house them. It is called "personal responsibility".

This is healthcare insurance for children. Children should not be punished for their parents. If your child needed heart surgery that you could not afford wouldn't you want there to be an alternative to letting your child die?

jeAh7, Yes, I'd like to see Doctors have a heart, and save the child whitout hesitation, and without pay, as they used to do before the wealth was their primary goal... My wife works for a hospital that writes off millions in patient costs annually. If we weren't taxed to death we could afford to to be more charitable. Doctors could afford it more easily than most, which shows their true motivation.

I've seen much degradation in the healthcare industry, thanks to the greed of doctors and insurance companies. The doctors often start with the most expensive tests, but least likely correct out come and work their way down to the most likely, but inexpensive testing...

Our healthcare system is broken. We have a system that counts on sick people for its funding. If we focused on prevention we would be in a much better condition.

I agree 100%, and am one who keeps healthy naturally rarely ever seeing a doctor. I cured my type 2 diabetes through good nutrition, and although my Dr. is very proud of me she pushes big pharma to her other patients instead of nutrition. Now that baby boomers reach retirement we see prevention being finally recommended!
