I believe that Azula just needs an anchor, a reason for her to stay sane. She lost her anchors when Mai and Ty Lee betrayed her. Sokka could be the light to chase away her darkness!
Yes, it is. Azula isn't *insane* in the sense that she was born with an inability to tell reality from imaginings. Hers are learned behaviors, and as such can be unlearned. Sokka could help her with that.
I don't pretend to say it's going to happen in the show but...I like it in fanon.
