  • Yes, OT Law is still valid. And those who do not have Christ in their hearts must live up to OT Law, today—that is, if they seek communion with God. However, OT Law has revealed and continues to reveal that man’s flesh is corrupt. Man is unable to live up to this standard of righteousness because it demands perfection—perfect compliance. Perfection has to be found within us. This is why Christ said:

No man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

    —John 14:6

Christ set His Ekklesia free from bondage!

  • Reference to the OT by Paul said that things that happened in the OT were our examples to the intent we should not lust after evil things as they [ Israel ] also lusted. 1Cor.10:6 Why? Because they were not allowed to enter Canaan. A type that points to the believer being able to rule and reign with Christ in the Kingdom Age. All those who left Egypt under the blood except for two, died in the wilderness, disinherited from the promise land.

  • how can the law have finished its work when christ came and died, so now I no longer have to keep the law I can steal?Do we make void the law through Grace God for bid!!Amen the sabbath is saturday!and we man changed the day to celebrate the resurrection who told us to do this.you are so wrong when you say we dont need physcial rest we do!We do have rest in Jesus yes but we can not work work work.God placed that day in creation to give us an example!

  • @jakhiggi68 You are not understanding. Man was not made for the sabbath but the sabbath was made for man. A day of rest and that day is whatever day works out for you.

No it is not good for us to work work work. The reality is that not everyone gets the same days off. My wife has a job that has her schedule is all over the place.

Christ knew of these days and therefore allowed for it. You can only understand this if you seek the word and not what some preacher tells you.

  • Jesus brings up the sabbath in Matthew 24:20. If we were not to continue to observe this day why did Jesus say this. Paul observe the custom as did Jesus of being in the temple on the Sabbath. Were they new testament christians. Jesus even rested when he was put in the grave.

  • @gurscheA1 Was Jesus always in the temple on the sabbath? We could not hold up the law. Christ came to place the burden on himself so that we could live. Rest is to our benefit.

The most important thing is relationship. Everyone has to seek that out and not let any preacher tell you how it is. You and you alone have to learn what Christ wants in your life.

Seek him first and you will find answers.

  • draagon66,

    STOP smoking crack bro !!!!!!!

  • The arguments outlined here rely on there having been a KRST in the first place.

What if the stories of JC were fabricated?

Why are the details of JC so very like those of Horus, Mithras, Dionysis, Attis, Krishna etcetera, and all those characters predating the alleged time of JC?

    Please explain.
