Appears to be Casino Point on Catalina Island, this happens to any diver or snorkeler who brings food into the water there. The calico bass tend to leave when a 300 plus pound black sea bass shows up.
Wow, those calico bass are really beautiful! Its interesting that out of water, the brown/yellow patterns stand out, but underwater, its the white/silver that really pops. There are some biggies in that group too! Wonderful video!
lol. calico, kelp, spotted. whatever you want to call then, they are bass, and their from the sea. stop trying to correct this person. it doesnt make you look any smarter, and it only makes him look dumb to ignorant people.
@summersc2002 since when was life a contest to see who labels things properly? who are you guys trying to impress? you obviously got the point and you watched the video. so enjoy it.
lol you do realize that there are 2 other fish in California that are universally known as "sea bass" (black sea bass and white sea bass). So when you call a calico bass a "sea bass" of course people are going to call a dumbass for mislabeling the video.
