I used a karmic transformer which alters Amaterasu's appearance. You can get different karmic transformers by beating the game with certain conditions met (gain a certain amount of praise, keep deaths low, etc).

Its called the Trinity Mirror, and I got it from later in the game. When you manage to defeat the boss of this island, then you can purchase it from a merchant in Sei-an City.

Its called the Trinity Mirror, and I got it from later in the game. I have it now because most of your weapons transfer over when you beat the game and start a "new game +".

Its a bit tricky to do. You need to hit ALL of them with one stroke, otherwise it won't work.

There's an artifact called "Golden Lucky Cat". You should be able to purchase it from one of the the Agata Merchant for Demon Fangs.

When I fight battles? If that's what you mean, those are Ammy's Resurrection Beads (A rosary type weapon).
