That's because we're conditioned into believing the world we live in is actually normal and anything is else not. The clean whites of this make it look like a hospital, although take away any ideological thoughts of how a hospital should look and you wouldn't know different. If a kid grew up there they wouldn't know any different.

Exactly. You cannot think in terms of what you already know or you will reject this system. You have to find out the things that are really important, and then form your morals around that. If you dont want to survive then dont, but everyone that is surviving has that one goal in common. To survive, and be healthy, therefore.. form your morals around health ya?

The shapes were probably optimized to deal with environmental pressures, to ensure a long-lasting design. The constant white that we see isn't necessarily what it will really look like. This is just one man's vision. It's the principles and the philosophy that we need to hold onto; not necessarily this EXACT vision. That's the beauty of all this. It's our respective creativity that will shape the future. There may be many crazy designs thought up by others yet, if this comes true. :)

I dont know what mental institutes youve seen but this city design looks like nothing ive seen before. Besides, the venus project is all about EMERGING societies. These buildings arent rigid designs, they are designed in accordance to optimum efficiency/symbiotic existence within nature however. Dont compare it too much with current ideologies about cities - just ask the important questions like how well does it work for society?

Fucks sake, it's what I think it looks like, a matter of opinion. It wouldn't necessarily turn out like this either. Climb out of your arse, if living in a place like that would make me feel crazy then what can you do about it? I don't like the way most of britain looks today, it's a shithole, but i think it's fair enough if i don't like the designs.

Climb out my arse? Im just trying to explain to you the logic behind part of the project. Youve only seen pictures and animations of it, you can't assert that it will make you go crazy living in a place like it, im not sure why you would feel that way about it. All these buildings work with humanity and nature, designed for nothing else.

I just said i didn't like the look of it, nothing about the actual ideas, and everyone starts hounding me. Its not an issue, i just don't like the way they look - it's a personal opinion. I've said nothing about zeitgeist OR the venus project that has any relevance to anything that is actually worth discussing. Leave it.

The fact is, no one said we have to build like this. The main point of the movie is to change our consciousness, and the reality will be naturally changed for all of us. Maybe most people will prefer living in the village/farm atmosphere, where there would be no need for all that technology, science and transportation, where life would be directed in nature's direction, growing your own food, taking care of cows. Most ppl will probably settle for that paradise. Cities?...yuk!

I agree, but it just looks that way to us because we're accustomed to something different. Our only frame of reference to this type of architecture is stark, white mental hospitals, thus we associate it with that.
