my guitar teacher would probably kill me if she saw how I play now. She would constantly insist that ways of twisting my fingers that made them feel like they were breaking was the only way to play certain chords, even when I showed her my way and how it was the exact same notes, sound, etc.

I'm still learning guitar and find your videos very helpful. I notice you rest your fingers on the guitar while you pick. I do the same thing, but I read on a website that it's "wrong" to do that. Whatever, lol.
