you know, I have watched a lot of Disney movies lately (my niece loves them) and I have never even thought about that. Tinkle-bell does sometimes, but never Tigerlily.

Most fairy tales are actually pretty gruesome in the first place. Knowing Disney (aka the sparkly clean FAMILY ORIENTED stories), they've had to change a LOT in regards to the story.
But in more recent news, Disney's actually going to do an old-fashioned Winnie the Pooh movie, including two new stories by a.a. milne.
@DarknessRexa thats just it, they DO know the stories but Disney is a family company so deaths etc are not allowed, they have to make happy films for girls and boys, if they stuck to the actual stories then Esmeralda would of been raped by Frollo etc but but they can't have that (obviously) so they had to edit the story, keep it to the basics but add their own twist to things so they didn't have parents complaining and they won't either be sued or just lose their fan base.
Lol i think its kinda ironic seeing how Mulan was barely in there. Ive never even heard or seen an american princess in real life, but i know chinease princesses actually exist because thats how they pretty much used to run things. Marry my princess to your prince so we can unite and become a GREAT country!!!

It is a nice video, but I would enjoy it more if I could see the credits so that I might find more of what the artists of these pictures have done. I have seen some on Devianart already (for example, the image in your user icon) and would like to see the others. If nothing else, it would be appropriate to give credit to the creators of the art. I know not all can be found (the avatars) but most should be easy enough.
I still don't understand how Mulan and Giselle count as princesses. Mulan never had anything to do with royalty and giselle never married the prince.
