even though its about satans son this anime doesnt just stick to any single religious view, it shows aspects of all religions like budhist demons as well as christian ones and likely Japanese oni later on. The blade shura uses at the end of this video is actually based on the Shinto religions legend of the Kusanagi Tsurugi I believe, a blade able to control the wind obtained from the belly of a 8 headed snake. im glad a story this good isnt controlled by any single religion, it'd ruin it.

I really hated how the anime producers killed him off... Rin completed went Godmod out of his ass and ended it. Manga is a lot different, because he's still loitering around~ Also, shouldn't Amaimon have flames too? Unless his flames are also in Gehenna and his body in Assiah, as a restriction to cross over to the material world.
