  • amazing now i can have a new swim suit for the summer

  • AWESOME!!! Now I know how to occupy myself for the next hour.

  • interesting

  • Love the idea but might not be very supportive for all us uh um bigger chested ladies! :D I wonder if maybe I just layer it a few more times if that would make it thicker and more supportive? or maybe thicker straps too!?

  • @brooke3000us cut an old bathing suit and use the padding from that one

  • for padding, I've taken an old worn out bra or just one I dont use anymore and cut it up leaving just the cup, trimmed is accordingly to my swimsuit top and sewn it into the bikini top. works great for light padding!

  • no one wears a cloth swimsuit exspecially white

  • tutorial actually starts at 3:00

  • it's so little!

  • omg, I didnt know it was that easy i had to use my old swim suit and it didnt turn out right. am gonna try again. Tah

  • You know you guys can sew on undergarment accesories such as padding. -_-

And you can buy swim material fabric to go on the inside to prevent that "wet tshirt" from happening.

  • my fav. video :)

  • yeah, how about i use the white shirt for the bottoms, jump in the pool, and have everyone see my bum cheeks! :o

  • wet Tshirt.. xdd lol

  • u cut a Tshirt and.. u dont have a Tshirt anymore! :D uhahahahah.. :|

  • y dont u just cut an old barley padded bra and sew it inbetween the 2 layers guys??lol

  • @allyssaluvsya826 OMG! YES!

  • @paulma222 haha

  • I MISS THREADBANGER ::(

  • haha that white shirt was made for them by the 'expert' they visited in their screen printing video and now theyre cutting it up! lol

  • Would that fit a twelve year old that has a size 12 bottom and a 30A chest?

  • @sk8tergirl939 Yes That's the wonder of string bikinis. You can tie them tighter if you want them smaller. double knot it.

  • @evilbunnyangoodbunny

Awesome. Cuz my lil sis absolutely loves the look of this bikini.

  • Maybe that would fit my 11 year old but my DDDs are gonna need a bigger t shirt and heavy duty straps!!!!

  • @BlueEyedDemonWoman

I was thinking the same thing because I have DDDDs! So I really need to make my own b/c it's impossible to find one in the stores. I think instead of the string across the bottom if you instead cut out about a 2 inch wide type of strap along the bottom it will help with support and also do a thicker strap for the top. Or even make normal straps like a bra, because those things are HEAVY on the neck right?!

  • It's really not as easy as it looks o.O

  • Would thoes measurements work for all sizes? or would you need to change them for bigger breasts?

  • @Rhiaxxify I made this today, and you definitely need to change the size for bigger busts! I think maybe this is a 'B' size...

I added pannels into the top afterwards.

  • @CliffordReel Thanks a bunch :)

  • did someone tested it? cuz i wanna no what happens when it gets wet xd someone? help? :P

  • @cuzimablondex You could use a rash shirts instead of normal shirts

  • @Rhiaxxify hum sorry a what shirt :P

  • @cuzimablondex I think that they're known as swim shirts in america, but I'm not sure, you wear wear them over your swimmers to stop getting burnt.

  • @Rhiaxxify haha okey but I'm not from America ^^"

    but thanks :)

  • that cool but u teach so quick so i'm not clear about it

  • i want them to show how to make a tankini!!!

  • hunny its white tshirt isnt that bad?

  • thats amazing

  • I think they didn't use any lining because they were using both sides of the t-shit, know what I mean?b The fabric is thicker that way. o.o Just a thought.

  • Comment removed

  • that is freakin kool:)

  • Tutorial starts around 3:00

  • @CassieLovley91 thank you!

  • @CassieLovley91 thanks.. sure helped... :D

  • dude im so gonna do tht

  • what, no comments about her bewbs? Im a girl and I was like *those are really really good* all the time of the video ;)

  • great video guys

    wish you lots of blessings

    love, peace n ganja

  • that was amazing(: BUT it is just a t shirt so when its wet wouldnt you see WAY too much?

  • it's a nice lesson ... but if you want to use your bikini a bit longer you have to buy special cloth..

  • Is this even waterproof?

  • wow!!!!!!!!!!!

  • wow ! That was really informative maybe some day i'll actually try it!:D

  • yeah my boobs are too big for that

  • well not sure about bathing suit, but definitely this will save on buying underwear~

  • @furby29 right?

  • i got a question? if you take this in the water, it don´t get to heavy? i mean for the fabric it can be any fabric.. i love yours videosss saludossss chicos!!

  • i actually made this bikini from the book. it does work, and since the t-shirt is two layers thick you won't see through it.

  • naah i dont think this is a good idea bcuz u can c through a shirt if its wet right ? so i doubt a girl would want n e 1 to c her 'private parts' after swimming ;D i agree wit some ppl here tht padding is necessary xP and also if the fabric is not like the one used for proper swimming suits then it will take longer to dry and the feeling of a wet shirt on u isnt so great so ..... id use different fabric and padding :D

  • you could use it as underwear? :D

  • could you possibly do an episode/video on how to make a padded strapless one piece swim suit with a removable halter strap.

i just get my mind around how to make one, and they are soo expensive to buy, please help, i would really appreciate it, thanks :)

  • I want to make a version of this but with lining. I don't have any lining fabric but I do have an old swimsuit, could I use the fabric form that instead?

  • can i make a swimsuit if my shirt is 95% cotton and 5% lycra?

  • uhm paddding for the top? lololol, welll it is doubled.. but the bottoms are white ! seeee through!

  • Gee, I just can´t believe it!!!! Amazing!!! I´ve been looking for this long long time!!!! Thaaaaaaaaank you soooooooo much!!!!!

  • this is hot

  • Awesome!! Thank you!!

  • I like the shoes at 0:46.

    What are those from?

  • thats cool but ma bewbs are too big

  • agreed :c

  • this is way to fast .....

  • Yea you can't actually swim in that. You nipples and butt crack would show for sure...But it does look really cute =]. Maybe if your just going to use it to tan.

  • Or you can add padding to the top and use a colored t-shirt for the bottom. :3

  • Im going to get 2 white tee shirts to make the bikini and i am going to get tye dye stuff. so i will tye dye the shirts then make the bikini out of them! :D

  • I love this video!... BUT when I cut my t-shirts... the raw edges fold up, as if I've stretched it... [kinda like the strings did when Corrine stretched them]

How can I make it not do that... or do I HAVE to use brand new t-shirts?

    PLEASE HELP!!! :/

  • you cant go into the water with a jersey bikini; you need special bikini fabric

  • A well done video, loved the fast forward. Wouldn't it be cheaper and just as easy to buy some knit fabric instead of destroying a perfectly good t-shirt?

  • Awesome, can totally do that for my Yoko Littner cosplay. xD

  • omg i have thT GENERATION T BOOK I SAW A PIC AND I WAS LOOK OMG LOL RANDOME BUT WOO HOO

  • its an amazing idea but inst a t-shirt a little thin? how could we make it u know thicker and more wearable?in going to a party next weekend and this would be sooo cool!

  • ya i agree. it takes quite a while to see what i wanted to watch, but it turned out pretty well. I'm not sure i have the patience to make my own bikini though lol

  • no ofence but you guys take 4ever just to show wat we came to watch

  • smart PIG that you are !! LOL

you need some kind of implant in your mouth to teach you some manners!

    smart ass..

  • girls need the padding in a swimsuit, LIGHT padding, so there boobs aren't so exposed. :P

  • @ipepsi007 I personally really dislike padding

    girls really don't NEED it

  • @nimoisansvous actually we do, because when we get cold our nipples get hard...

  • @ipepsi007 u are right there

  • @ipepsi007 lol i was telling my bf that last week when i was buying one lol

  • @ipepsi007 yeah ad also if it gets wet its see through

  • @ipepsi007 Ya.... you can usually find some at craft stores like Jo-Ann Fabrics... The light padding usually isn't too expensive...

  • @ipepsi007 and they look nippley too!!

  • @ipepsi007 If you have an old swim suit you don't want, and it has padding in it, just sew it into the material :)

  • @ipepsi007 yea a tshirt material bathing ssuit with no padding is just a recipie for complete disaster. lol which is why u use this tutorial with a different material and alter it so that the seem between the 2 layers isnt completely closed up, that way u can slip in padding that u borrow from one of ur other bikinis :)

  • white???

  • how could i add some padding to the bikini top? any clue??

    thanx

  • if you have any old bras, you could probably cut out the padding?

  • I'm sure you're proud of your fair, but I didn't need the clutter. What about adapting it to large-busted's?

  • ...i would like to see that bathing suit tested AFTER it's wet lol. THEN i'll think about it!

  • lmao deadass i wanna see some before and after pictures!

  • lmao

  • @lonSinceInsane i know right? xD

  • @lonSinceInsane i tested mine, it was see through, but i just but some padding down before actually sewing

  • @lonSinceInsane thts y she said to use DOUBLE layers (:

  • @lonSinceInsane I've done it

  • i love the bathing suit!!

  • Jesus, fricken cut to the chase!! haha

  • So small! What if I'm curvy?

  • No kidding. That top won't fit on my chest. No way.

  • oh awesome! how'd they do those twig necklaces??

  • but doesnt the material have to be like for swimsuits not cotton bc when u get in the water then everything will be soggy nd seethrough

  • That's why they doubled the fabric- that way the suit isn't see through for water.

I still wouldn't surf in it though.

  • Hey threadbanger, I have a request. I have a lot of string and don't know what to do with it. Can ya help me?

  • omfg yeah im made the bikini, it so does work!!

    and lookas totally cool.

i mean why waste alot of money on a bikini and throw away shirts that you don´t want or w.e and not just make your own.

well at least i injoyed it.

  • have you tested it in water yet?

i want to know if doubling the material is really enough for it to not be see through

  • yh i have you can see it a little so i recomend puting a litle bit of pading or somthing inside like if you dont want anything seen. but i mean for me it was a little but i didnt try it with the same colors i got purple and black.. but in thoughts colors you cna a litle.

  • just use a dark colour

  • u tested it? can u send me a picture of it, asnd u in it so i can no if it is worth making?

  • u can tell she double layered it on the bottoms she cut out the bottom and top of the shirt it might work

  • has eneyone tried it

    did it work

  • this is cute i guess but seriously go to aeropostale and buy yourself a REAL bikini for only 20 dollars! you cant actually swim in this!

  • thats so tiney

  • how do you know how to adjust it to your size? like i wanna make one but idk if that would all be like the right size for me and stuff. help?

  • that is a rly good idea i would live to try it but i have like no shirts left to cut up:P

  • Goodwill has A LOT of t-shirts (;

  • can you actually swim in this?? i like it but.. idk

  • you can always stitch a simple dark piece of fabric on the inside - maybe something lycra-like (so it stretches and feels dry against you). Not only would it feel thicker and more secure and dry, but it would also keep it from being see-through. just make sure to have that inside stitch nice and stretchy and to have the fabric well shaped and flat, so it doesnt look lumpy

most importantly, after you make one, you would be able to make a second with adjustments, knowing what you did wrong

  • Could you slow it down a little?!

  • Hey could you guys make a Tankini and a One Piece? I'm not exactly fit for a Bikini. Plus, my camp doesn't allow it.

  • i so love this suit but help me adjust the measurements that aint gonna cover my melons im a 36

  • take an old bra(padded one unless your goin to a wet tshirt contest) and put sew cute matrial along it and sew and then make bottoms with two layers

  • ooo thats a really good idea!!!

  • it is ! you shouls make a video !

  • I love it, but talk about see through. Yikes...

  • any suggestions on how to adjust the measurements to account for larger breasts? i'd love to make a top, but from the looks of that one, it wouldn't cover much on me lol

  • I would think you could just add an inch or two to each side measurement. =)

  • I had a set of twins, so my stomach isnt very flattering in a bikini. Isnt there a pattern for how to make a sexy one piece? I was looking forward to summer until I saw that cute one pieces are like $50 and old lady ones cost like $10

  • threadbanger should totally do a one peace swimsuit tutorial before the summer

  • i agree theres so many cute bikinis out there but im only 12 and im still in that stage where im not very comfortable with my body. Threadbanger show totally make a 1 piece bikini tutorial

  • hahaha

that was so hilarious when they were booty dancingg to the ice cream music :D

  • if you dont want your batheing suit to get wet/see-through make it with more layers....

  • i really hope that the white bottom won't get wet...yikes!

  • so you used a white shirt to make the bottom...what happens when that gets wet...ha just sayin

  • lol so true

  • LMAO so truee

  • HA XD

  • This is a great idea, my only problem is every girl is a different size! I was wondering if any one was good with numbers (now please don't say tmi and down rate me, I'm just looking for help!) For the bottoms I need the top to be 36", but I don't have a huge butt. And for the top I need a 36 C cup, can any one help or tell me how to do all the measurments to my own size?

  • Oh, sorry also if it comes up to the waist, and not around the hips I need a 24

    Thanks^^

  • Just take a bikini you already have and use that for size guidelines.

    :]

    I hope that helps...

  • you could just use a tight tshirt and mark the countour you want with a marker for a pattern

  • what is DIY?????

  • Do it yourself!! :D

  • omg i heard the ice cream shop! ahh lmao idk random =] hey i live in brooklyn woo hoo yeah me! lmao idk im so random =]

  • I made a neon colored one yesterday. Wayyy cute. But when I used it I went to a hot springs when it was 9 degrees out... I should've put some padding in there. hahaha :P

  • I live in Wisconsin and I have allways wanted to go to the Renegade Craft Fair. Are the prices good, is it worth the trip just to get ideas? The bikini is a good idea but maybe with an diffrent material. Cotton seems like it would get wet and see through. I mean white see through bottoms! Eww! Great idea for sunbathing though!

  • so cute!

  • I have these two sleevless shirts with a removable neck sting, one is orange and one is blue, and they're waaay to small! Do you any super amasing ideas or tips what to turn them into?

  • hi i lluv da video

  • well the cups are slightly small for me...

how much bigger do you think i would have to make the cups for a size d?

  • I'd say add 6-9 inches to each measurment, since if it's too big or small, it can be scrunched up or down easily.

  • ok thank you =]

  • I am going to try to make Megan Nicole`s shirt. It is awesome!

  • i made one it was pink and yellow very cute

  • does the renegade craft fair go on every year on june 22?

  • omg, thts the cutest bikini ever!

    i must try.

  • I would suggest you make 2 layers for the bottoms... I haven't tried but it'll go see-though and you'll die of embarrasment

  • I think I will try this, but I am going to test it out in the bath tub first. See through swimsuits.......not a pleasent sight!

  • i think this is the first time ive ever seen rob without a hat

  • if any of you have tried this, how does the bikini work out underwater?

  • Help, Threadbangers!

I'd like to make a two piece bathing suit, turned into a one piece, by connecting the top and bottom with fishnet and mesh in between, covering my stomach area.

But mesh is just crossed string! Not complete fabric. Any tips on how to sew fishnet or mesh fabric?

  • If you think about it, you can also make your own bra and panties out of this ;)

  • :O!! i'm kinda short of money right now and can't buy a bikini, i'm going to the beach in a couple of weeks... you just saved my life!! i love you guys! ^-^
